Which Star Wars Characters Have Appeared In The Most Movies & TV Shows?
Image
The Star Wars franchise has consistently brought back its most iconic characters across many projects, raising the question of which ones have appeared in the most movies and TV shows. Before Disney bought Star Wars in 2012, this would have been much easier to answer, as there were only six theatrical films, a handful of cartoons, and a few TV movies and specials. However, the saga now encompasses 12 theatrical films, six live-action TV shows, nine animated series, multiple micro-series, and countless more projects on the way.

For this list, characters will be ranked by combining the total number of Star Wars movies and TV shows they appeared in, regardless of screen time. If two characters' totals are tied, then their average screen time and number of episodes in the TV shows will be used to estimate which one has more appearances. Lego Star Wars stories, documentaries, TV specials, game shows, and...

Hayden Christensen Addresses the Possibility of Playing Batman
Image
Star Wars franchise star Hayden Christensen was asked about taking on the role of the Dark Knight in Matt Reeves' The Batman. For his part, Christensen noted that following Robert Pattinson would be a tough act to follow, making his potential casting challenging.

The question came up during a new video interview with GQ that saw Christensen fielding questions from fans. One person asked what it would be like if Christensen had been cast as Bruce Wayne in The Batman rather than Pattinson. While the actor noted how that's a "great character" to play, he suggested that the right person got the role. When pressed to state if he'd have done better playing Batman or Bruce Wayne, Christensen felt like he'd do well with the latter.

If you're a big "Star Wars" fan who loves trivia, you might already know this information, but Ewan McGregor has a deeper connection to the franchise than you think. He played the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequel films, voiced the character in two of the sequel films, and two episodes of the micro-series "Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures" on StarWarsKids.com. Now he's returning to tell the tale of what happened after "Revenge of the Sith" and before "A New Hope" in the upcoming Disney+ series "Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Link Tank: Why You Should Rewatch The Love Witch This October
Samantha Robinson in The Love Witch (2016)
The Love Witch, directed by Anna Biller, is a feminist horror film well-deserving of a revisit this October.

“In 2016, feminist film director Anna Biller released The Love Witch and it has been a part of my regular Halloween film viewing every year since. Not just because the film is gorgeous and emotionally riveting, but because of how Biller’s love of horror and the feminist gaze allows her to create a film that can bring forth tears of laughter and anguish.”

Halloween may be a joyous annual celebration, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be cautious. Case in point, a Long Island housewife handed arsenic to unsuspecting trick-or-treaters in the ’60s.

“On October 31, 1964, 13-year-old Elsie Drucker and her 15-year-old sister Irene returned to their Long Island home after an evening of trick-or-treating and dumped their spoils onto the table. Among the assortment...

Kylo and the Knights of Ren Annihilate the Resistance in New Star Wars Animated Short
James Earl Jones, Forest Whitaker, Wen Jiang, Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Daniel Naprous, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Spencer Wilding, and Riz Ahmed in Rogue One: A Star Wars story (2016)
A new Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures animated short has been released and, even though these are aimed at younger viewers, this one is particularly brutal. It centers on Kylo and the Knights of Ren who get into a big scrape with a small group of Resistance fighters. Unfortunately for this small band of rebels, Kylo Ren decides to go full-on Sith Lord on them, channeling his grandfather Darth Vader, ala the end of Rogue One.

Titled "Kylo Ren vs. Resistance Rebels," the Star Wars animated short centers on Kylo Ren and the First Order as they strike fear into the heart of the galaxy. But a small group of daring Resistance fighters risks it all to join the fight. Not to spoil it, but they mostly lose everything in the process. It starts off with Kylo gathering his troops in a hanger, before he and the Knights of Ren...
