Being a filmmaker myself, I couldn't help but applaud Hemwant Tiwari's audacious approach to connecting with the audience. His courage in bringing forth a one-shot, 1-hour 40-minute black and white masterpiece is truly commendable leaving me inspired.

Although I've stepped away from Instagram, I've urged my team to share any content Hemwant posts about the film. I regret not having as much courage.

Hemwant's relentless promotion of Lomad left no stone unturned. As someone with a keen eye for art works in films, like 1917 with its selective scenes, Lomad's continuous single-shot format for its entire duration is a delightful surprise.

Anticipating it would potentially lack adventure, I was eager to watch at what cost. Lomad began like a drama, seamlessly transitioned into a crime thriller. The use of remarkable tent poles throughout the narrative was sometimes hard to believe, showcasing the profound transformation people can undergo.

Lomad skillfully portrayed the concept that everyone harbors a stranger within themselves. People may present an admirable facade to the world and to their loved ones, but the film compellingly suggests that true understanding requires delving into the unknown - becoming Lomad.

With a plot filled with twists and turns, Lomad captivated and engaged me. The meticulous cinematography, coupled with a wonderful plot, delivered a message alongside a genuine work of art. While the script had its merits, there was a slight margin for improvement.

Lomad left me thoroughly entertained, offering both a powerful message and a visually stunning work of art. Looking forward to meet the man himself one day.

Kudos to the Lomadis of Lomad! Making a single-shot B/W movie like this, requires vision, conviction, meticulous planning, a 'lomadic' street-smartness and above all, a lot of courage! Loved the passion with which each character was portrayed, the usage of the screen real estate, the cinematography and the way the story was stitched together. The forest, the black and white rendition, the background sounds (of chirping birds...) all added to the rustic and raw appeal that made the story-telling even more gripping. Also, how even the time-lapse was depicted, without affecting / jarring the single shot objective. More power to you Hemwant and team Lomad!

Unconventional but extremely gripping, Lomad is a must watch for connoisseurs of interesting cinema. When one is done and dusted with the oft-repeated masala mish-mash of bollywood, along comes a film like Lomad and restores one's faith in meaningful cinema.

Hemwant Tiwari has donned many hats in this one but doesn't let any of them fall. Inspite of it being a low budget, single shot film, with a few narrative slip-ups, Lomad holds up on its own for the sheer honesty and the zeal to do something different by its maker ie Hemwant. Its an effort that needs acknowledgement and appreciation. Kudos to the entire team of Lomad. It takes bravehearts to test new waters and Team Lomad has certainly hit bullseye !

Lomad is world's first single take film , it's hard to believe because when you watch the film it's REALLY unbelievable how the did the slow motion shots in a single take which the director has explained in his interviews.

One has to deep understanding and skills to create something like this. Unlike Irivan Nizhal where I could clearly see a object in front of the camera hiding the screen which is not a single take film but they are advocating it as one .... Where as LOMAD is CLEARLY a single shot film and also entertaining with a good story. I recommend this movie to everyone to watch. Acting is great of the whole crew.

Enjoyed a lot ,it's a very nice movie.i watched this movie last Sunday in PVR Gaur City Mall Noida ,Each and every character has played beautiful role especially Hemant Tiwari the leading character in this movie. I appeal every one please must watch this movie. This is world,s first Black and white single shot movie,I have never seen such single shot movie before. I am surpised with the creation of whole one hour forty minutes in such small area and story is such that you cannot take ur eyes away from the screen . Brilliant acting by the team , they acted like perfect unit . The way he shot the film with just one take, gives you the feel of raw and theatre like experience, knowing that he has a crowd fund , viz, shoestring budget. The acting stood out. Lomad team has put across theatrical show over the reel in singleshot with brilliant performance. Director has carved a niche with script , twist and turns. It will make u think and learn . It takes mutilple effort to make small reel for me and Hemwant you made whole one hour forty minutes of movie . How is it possible? Boss, Watched it . Trust me something unique has happened in film industry and it is made with brilliant mind and high dedication . The inspiration behind is passion and knowledge for films otherwise the act cannot be complete .The articles used , the natural sounds , the locations add sweetness to the subject.

Great effort for promotions too and the whole subject need to pulled with great direction only. The actors have done full justice for the singleshot and shout for acting is necessary . The film has been shot at 48 fps. Its unheard off. So while watching the film i saw some moments in the film were in slow motion. After the film i asked the director & actor of the film how did he do that. He was happy that i noticed it and very excitedly he told me that he has shot the whole film at 48 fps.

So for those who dont know about it. Let me tell you that a film is shot at 24 fps and if the maker wants the moments to be in slow motion they change the setting to 48, 72, 96, 120fps. We can see these settings in our phone as well. But hemwant couldnt stop the camera to change the settings as its a one shot film so how did he have slow motion in the film????

Now is the unbelievable part.

He shot the entire film in slow motion at 48 fps.

When i heard this i was in awe of his vision.

Not only he gave us a one shot film but he also gave us a new technique which has never been used before this film.

I was completely engrossed while watching "LOMAD," a thrilling film that had me hooked from start to finish. Kudos to the actor-director Hemant Tiwari for masterfully bringing this gritty story to the screen and making us feel the very essence of "LOMAD" within him. The entire film was brilliantly shot in one continuous take, a technique that could have overshadowed the impact, but instead, it seamlessly integrated with the narrative. Once I was captivated, I completely forgot it was a one-take film, and that's a testament to its storytelling prowess.

Single shot is easy to say but to create is extremely tough but Hemwant Ji & Team Lomad, you made it happen. I have witnessed the team work over the screen so can visualize your effort over the span and extreme pain of thought to putting on screen journey is next to impossible. Kudos to the direction, cinematography is at its best. The promotions style was absolutely unique. Saw you in the Delhi Metro so went to watch in Noida along with Family. Storyline is wow, usage of location for 97 minutes movie. Keeping me intact to chair was amazing feeling. Superb work my friend.

The film was a fresh and new experience. I was little dicey about it because of black n white color. But I am so glad I watched it, Quite a roller coaster ride of emotions in this single take movie.

LOMAD is the world's first black and white single take feature length narrative film, and on purely execution and technical levels, it is an easy 10/10. The manner is which HEMWANT TIWARI executes the whole film in one shot with several time jumps is truly marvellous. The performances, while sometimes ranging on exaggerated theatricality, are mostly good.

Where the film falters is in its very ordinary and flawed writing. While the story is good, the screenplay is very poorly written, with lots of conveniences and huge plot holes. The beginning of the conflict also films rather manufactured, where characters do some seriously bizarre and dumb things just for the sake of progressing the plot further in a forced manner. The entire film is full of characters talking to each other, but the dialogue writing is very average; in several places you're compelled to comment that that is not how people talk in real life.

All in all, LOMAD is a technical marvel where one-shot is executed flawlessly, the sound design is brilliant, and the exquisite black-and-white cinematography complements the grimness of the story, but due to a very ordinary writing, this film fails to soar. I will still recommend this film to anyone who is interested in exploring the offbeat and indie side of Hindi cinema, but I will suggest them to watch this film while keeping their expectations in check.

Despite some shortcomings in the film, I have mad respect for its Hemwant who wrote, directed as well as acted as the lead in this film. A true blue cinema ardent who achieves here what several filmmakers can't in their entire careers. He is a pure representation of artistry, and cinema is made cinema due to the dedication of people like him. Bravo sir!

This movie was an experience in itself. From the story line, to the direction, every character played its part. After some time, as an audience, we forget that this is a single take film and look for more, which the film 100% delivers on.

Superb acting skills by Auroshikha Dey and Hemwant Tiwari who held the screen together for the 1st half of the film and kept the audience engaged through the second half of the story line.

The film's pacing is a standout feature, keeping the audience engaged without overwhelming them. As each clue unravels, the plot thickens, leading us down a path of deception where nothing is as it seems.
