Scrooge meets Devil's Wears Prada with a Christmas 🎄 twist!
Great story with multiple weaving storylines! Demetria McKinney does a fantastic job!

It could've been a little longer to show more of Mia's transformation. This part of the movie seemed rushed although I enjoyed the underlying message. Sometimes we are completely unaware of the negative impact that our past pains, rejections and disappointments has on our hearts when we hold onto all that baggage!
Cute retelling. I liked the characters. I'm not one to overanalyze. I enjoyed the retelling. Acting was decent, a little different take, but great ending.
I like the way the story unfolds. Its a fun twist on A Christmas Carol. Unfortunately, the flaws are a distraction. I don't know if it is bad direction or acting, sometimes yhe characters are over-the-top and stereotypical while the more seasoned actors save the show. Plus, not to be a spoiler, there is a problem regarding the ages of the cast that make final resolution unbelievable.
I was looking forward to this film. The star, Demetria McKinney nails the role of a stone cold businesswoman/Scrooge and the movie starts well at its beginning. However distractions like the over-the-top acting of the man crazed drama queen, Antoine is out of place not only in 2018 (for any gender) but for an office with a boss from hell who demands professionalism. The story gets back on track once his scene stealing is out of the way, but quickly fizzles into confused meanderings and an ending that was so quick and contrived that one wonders if the writers were told that they had 5 minutes left of film time, so wrap everything up.
