Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy saw the return of both familiar faces And voices, with some fun, topsy-turvy twists.
Speaking to Polygon, co-showrunners Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit talked about getting the chance to shake up the Star Wars galaxy and create a whole new reality where established characters are the opposite of their classic selves. This, according to Samit, really appealed to the longtime Star Wars cast members, stating, "You got some of these actors, like Mark [Hamill] or Anthony [Daniels], [who] have been doing it for 40-plus years, and it's always been more or less the same version of the characters. Which they love, obviously, but I think it was really fun and refreshing for everyone to do a new spin on their characters."

The new Disney+ mini-series Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy may be a part of the non-canon Lego Star Wars franchise, which isn't technically considered part of the Star Wars universe, but a few of the stars of the series think some of the characters could eventually become canon. Per Screen Rant, animated series cast members Tony Revolori (Dev Greebling), Marsai Martin (Yesi Scala) and Dan Hernandez, executive producer, had a few ideas of which characters could make the jump to be considered canon.
I could see Servo joining in, Revolori said of Michael Cusacks character, a gonk droid with an Australian accent. He said Cusack does an incredible job voicing him, and hes so hilarious. I could see that happening in honestly any show or movie easily." Revolori added, besides his own character of Dev becoming canon, the character of Jedi Bob, voiced by Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan,...

Star Wars star Ahmed Best took a moment to thank two fellow legends from the franchise for being there to support him from the very start. As fans will know, Best portrayed the controversial Jar Jar Binks, a character heavily criticized upon his introduction in 1999's The Phantom Menace.
On Instagram, Best shared an image from the original Star Wars set of Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill and Yoda puppeteer Frank Oz. Best explained in the caption how he wanted to give both Hamill and Oz recognition for how they came to his defense during the backlash over this character. After giving his thanks to Hamill and Oz, Best went on to tease his potential return to the franchise as Kelleran Beq, the character he played in the third season of The Mandalorian.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is filled with playable characters from the Star Wars universe, many of which are famous faces. However, the game’s developers also dove deep into the depths of Star Wars lore to fill out the title’s roster of playable characters with truly strange selections that only the most diehard fans would possibly recognize.
Gamers who want to experience everything The Skywalker Saga has to offer will have to unlock over 380 characters. Most of these are key players such as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, recurring side characters like C-3Po and R2-D2, and even fan favorites such as Bossk and Boba Fett. Admittedly, a sizable chunk of the game roster consists of variants of the same character, but The Skywalker Saga also includes quite a few obscure characters.

One of the most infamous events in “Star Wars” history is getting resurrected on Disney Plus, through a lens made of Lego.
“The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special” will debut on the streaming service on Nov. 17. Set after the events of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” the special continues the partnership between Lucasfilm and Lego of making playful, tongue-in-cheek animated versions of “Star Wars” stories using Lego figures and blocks.
The 45-minute special will follow Rey as her further investigation of the Force launches her and Bb-8 across the history of the Skywalker Saga — as Finn, Poe, Rose, and Chewbacca prepare for the “Star Wars” holiday Life Day on Chewie’s home planet of Kashyyyk.
A rep for Lucasfilm tells Variety that a few “Star Wars” actors will reprise their roles for the special, but it’s still unclear whether Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, or Kelly Marie Tran are returning.

Here are the new and old titles you can expect on Disney+ for February 2020.
The streaming space is a crowded one. Between Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Apple TV+ and the 2020 launches of NBCUniversal’s Peacock and WarnerMedia’s HBO Max, the competition for your money and attention is fierce.
Now Disney has made the splashiest entrance into the streaming landscape with Disney+. The service’s library features Disney live-action and animated classics, and content from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and National Geographic.
Disney+ is more than just the greatest hits from the House of Mouse. The service is set to roll out original feature films, TV shows, and documentaries. For instance, Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7 is set to arrive this month.
