Excellent series. The stories are dark and fascinating. The dramatizations are well acted and the narration is delivered full of detail. The eerie soundtrack is perfect, capturing the grim atmosphere and fate of the tower's victims. Awesome series.

A wonderful look into one of the most historically iconic sites in British history. Beautifully informative in understanding the daily activities the staff are challenge with to handle the annual millions of tourist that visit this 1000 year old Tower.

I've only seen two episodes and cannot wait for the next. Give it a look as you will enjoy every minute.

Me and my elder brother love this series. Was hooked on it in series 1 and was pleased when they brought it back for series 2 especially when they made it longer. Unlike a previous viewer I found it very interesting, especially being told from the perspective of the people who work there. I love history, it was my favorite subject at school and you don't get a more historical building in this country than the Tower. All I can say is I am really hoping they will have a 3rd season. Keep it coming.

I really enjoy watching each episode of Inside the Tower of London and can barely wait for the next week when a new episode appears. It is loaded with historical facts and is so interesting. A nice added touch is seeing how the Tower runs today...its tours, protecting and preserving the Tower and its contents, and the people who keep it up and running. Each week I come away with one or two stories from the past I was not aware of.

This short TV series concentrated on the 'personalities' that the regular Tower schedule consists of. It's not so much about the Tower and its very interesting history, but tries - and fails - in a very vain RealityTV attempt to engage the viewer in the people that work there. Firstly, it is disruptive to what we think of the Tower as a historical monument by trying to describe it as being run as a military one. Secondly, it introduces those that reside there as if they constitute part of the historical significance, and that a position at the Tower is some kind of 'award'. And finally, the programmes shows the main thing the viewer tuned in to see (the Tower of London) obscured by some forgettable individual in a beard and a uniform. This series lacks understanding of the location, of the visitors, of the meaning to Britain, of the residents of London, and of the history...but replaces all of that vibrant life of screen presence with a number of nobodies that you forget as soon as you look away from the screen. RealityTV at its worst.
