What’s the future of storytelling? For The Dark Knight screenwriter David S Goyer, it’s Emergence – a new platform that employs AI and the blockchain.
Previously better known as the writer behind such comic book movies as Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and Man Of Steel, David S Goyer has moved into the tech arena with something called Emergence. It’s billed as the “first ever collaboratively-built entertainment franchise” in which other writers and artists will be able to contribute to its creative direction.
In a video announcing the venture (see below), Emergence is described as “a new sci-fi universe” and a “creative sandbox”. Goyer and his collaborators have established a broader backstory – about a galaxy in which mysterious, powerful objects tumble out of an inter-dimensional portal – while other people will eventually be able to step in and add characters and narrative detail. Call of Duty is arguably one of the biggest franchises in the gaming world. Since 2003, this franchise has given us some gaming gems which were some absolute treats for first-person shooter lovers. The legacy is well and truly being carried forward by the latest entry in the franchise, Black Ops 6.

Despite some initial stumbles, BO6 came out to be the biggest-ever launch any CoD title has ever seen. The game was heavily criticized for its launch maps, new movement mechanics, over-infestation by hackers, and many more issues. However, there’s no doubt that the game features one of the best campaign missions in the entire franchise, and the Emergence mission is just a glimpse of that.

Writer David Goyer has created Emergence, a world meant to be the first franchise on a new platform called Incention, which connects fans to expand and create intellectual property.
It basically allows studios and rights holders to open their IP to fans and other creators while leveraging AI to streamline licensing, revenue sharing and community engagement. The platform is built on the blockchain so ideas can be tracked and creators compensated.
Organizers are ambitious, hoping to introduce a new blueprint for building modern franchises through “collaborative creation” that can help avoid costly misfires on the big and small screens with early input from a passionate base. AI will help users sort through the content.
“In the current fragmented entertainment industry, AI’s growing influence holds immense opportunity, but also risks reducing franchises to formulaic outputs and potentially sidelining human creativity in a market that is saturated with content fatigue.

“Foundation” and “The Dark Knight” trilogy writer and producer David S. Goyer has set up a sci-fi franchise titled “Emergence” at Incention, a new platform that aims to “bring AI and blockchain to Hollywood, and redefine how modern franchises are developed.”
Centered around a white hole in a galaxy, the “Emergence” franchise will feature various storytelling mediums, including podcasts, comics and animations.
Built using blockchain AI storytelling platform Story, Incention will launch Goyer’s project to “showcase the potential of this revolutionary model” and “capture mainstream attention while redefining how IP evolves.” “Emergence” will be created by Incention users as well as through its generative AI tool, Atlas, which is designed to serve as a “creative partner” to help with common tasks like aggregating ideas, crafting narratives and generating full videos.
Per Incention, “Atlas will be able to autonomously post on social media platforms, community manage and gauge sentiment online to refine its creative process.

Allison Tolman became a breakout star in the first season of FX's Fargo, and then cracked up audiences voicing Pam's sister Edie Poovey in Archer. Her newest role as Alex in NBC's hit comedy St. Denis Medical is another change of pace for the Emmy and Golden Globe nominee. It's a chance for her to play the proverbial "straight man" to everyone else's more oddball characters -- even if Alex happens to be a workaholic with her own quirks.
In an interview with Cbr, Tolman explained why Alex is so close to her heart, and what it was about St. Denis Medical that brought her on board. She also explains her love of mockumentary sitcoms and how it prepared her for starring in one. And learn why she enjoys being on the set even when she's not filming a scene!

The final season of the animated What If...? series premieres on Disney+ on December 22, 2024, bringing the popular MCU Multiverse Saga show to an end. What If...?'s first two seasons premiered in 2021 and 2023, respectively, introducing Jeffrey Wright to the MCU as the voice of the Watcher, a cosmic being who narrates stories from alternate realities across the multiverse. Marvel Animation began work on What If...? season 3 in July 2022, and later confirmed that the upcoming season would be What If...?'s last hurrah.
What If...? has already introduced viewers to a slew of interesting and fantastical variants, including Captain Carter, T'Challa's Star-Lord, Nova Corpsman Nebula and the morally-questionable Strange Supreme. What If...? season 3's cast includes some of the weirdest and most exciting additions, however, sending the series out with a bang. The campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hasn’t disappointed at all, however, fans have found a mistake in a certain mission that proves that Activision is too lazy. Players have discovered that the studio has used a vehicle model that is too modern a game that is set during the 1991 Gulf War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has just been released. After completing the Modern Warfare trilogy, Activision is now looking to revive its Black Ops series. The last game in the series, Black Ops Cold War, didn’t get a proper reception from the fans, which is why all the honors lay on the shoulders of the recently launched title.

However, things are not going very well for BO6, as the game is heavily criticized for the new movement mechanics and launch maps. Still, the game features one of the best campaign missions in franchise history, one department in which Modern Warfare 3 failed miserably. There are even campaign missions that can literally give you chills in your bones, just like any full-fledged horror title.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe introduced one of its coolest suits almost five years ago, and I cant believe how wasted it was in its debut. Part of what makes the superhero genre so entertaining to watch is the flashy costumes. The MCU has featured some amazing costumes over the years, from iconic classics like Captain America's star-spangled getup to feats of technology like Iron Man's nanotech suit. Every hero has their individual style, and when you have a franchise that includes brilliant inventors like Tony Stark and the advanced technology of Wakanda, there are bound to be some unique creations.
Marvel has featured so many different superhero suits that itd be challenging for the MCU to show them all off. The costuming possibilities are endless. On occasion, this leads to collaborations between multiple characters. Tonys Stark Technology has notably lent a hand to heroes like Spider-Man, creating suits...

Gears of War: E-Day brings back Marcus and Dom for a prequel on Emergence Day, but risks further repeating old themes. Gears of War 4 and Gears 5 added interesting twists to the series, but ultimately retread old ground. E-Day is similarly stuck trying to recapture the heights of the original trilogy by bringing players back to the Locust War, which the series never really left in the first.
Gears of War: E-Day is one of my most anticipated upcoming games. I adored the series' original trilogy, but I'm just now getting around to playing its more recent entries after skipping the Xbox One generation. Gears of War 4 and Gears 5 haven't quite reached the same heights as the series-best Gears of War 2 for me, but roadie running around and chainsawing grubs has a sort of base appeal that hasn't ceased to be entertaining. After its release, ‘Eternals’ signaled a shift in the MCU. Despite mixed reviews and poor box office performance, it was praised as ambitious yet occasionally disjointed, introducing numerous elements that weren’t further explored.
While some viewers found it refreshing and enjoyed its blend of cosmic and mythological themes, others felt it fell short of expectations.
Some time back, rumors suggested that the potential sequel for ‘Eternals’ was canceled and no longer in progress. However, other rumors hinted that the project has been revamped into something else entirely, possibly still featuring the full cast of characters. Now, well-known leaker MyTimeToShineHello shares a significant update regarding Ikaris. It’s been suggested that Ikaris isn’t truly deceased and will make a return “sooner than we think.”

Upon its release, ‘Eternals’ marked the change of direction in the MCU, and despite the movie receiving mixed reviews and bombing at the box office, it was often described as ambitious and sometimes incoherent due to many elements introduced, which were subsequently never used again.
Some viewers considered the movie a breath of fresh air and appreciated the themes that mixed cosmic themes with mythologies, but some felt that the movie didn’t quite hit the mark.
A while ago it was rumored that the potential sequel for ‘Eternals’ was scrapped and is no longer in development, but then a different set of rumors implied that the project has simply been reworked into something else entirely and we might still get to see the full cast of characters on the big screen. It has been 25 years since Keri Russell graced the small screen in the iconic role of Felicity Porter.
Felicity, the J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves-produced college drama, was a critical darling of The WB, becoming a phenomenon well before "the big chop" controversy and often topping the list of young adult classics to this very day.
The series amassed 84 episodes over four seasons, and it was nominated for 38 awards, including a Golden Globe Best Actress nod for Keri Russell.
The series remains impactful, even two and a half decades later. And it's primarily due to the allure of the cast, many of whom are still going strong in their careers all these years later.

Allison Tolman has been cast in “St. Denis Medical,” a comedy pilot at NBC from “Superstore” and “American Auto” creator Justin Spitzer.
The pilot is described as a mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.
Tolman will play Alex, the supervising nurse in St. Denis’ emergency department who is dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients, often sacrificing her personal life to maintain her high standards.
Tolman recently held the recurring role of Winnie McLendon in “Gaslit,” the Starz limited series based on the Watergate scandal. She is also known for starring as Molly Solverson in Season 1 of FX’s “Fargo,” which earned her a Critics Choice Award as well as nominations for an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Evangeline Young has been cast as Charlotte Walton in “The Son in Law,” a comedy pilot from ABC.
“The Son in Law” stars Chris Sullivan as Jake, a single father who never thought he would love again, until Asha came along. The problem is that Jake, a hard-working plumbing contractor, is solidly middle class, while Asha hails from the equivalent of uber-wealthy South Asian royalty. Jake wants to marry Asha, and while he still needs to ask Asha’s father for his blessing, the real stumbling block is Asha’s loving but controlling mother, who doesn’t hide her feelings about Jake being all wrong for her daughter.
Charlotte aka Charlie is Jake’s only child, and is described as a smart, tough social-justice minded recent college graduate who is deeply in love with her boyfriend Ben, an Emt with whom she lives in a third story walk-up in the Bronx.
