It's the same Disney LATIN AMERICA idea reused over and over again, the same thing, really, I'm not kidding. LITERALLY THE SAME.
As I know there will be people who will say it's not the same old recycled idea, here's an example, in Soy Luna: Luna, a foreigner who moved to Argentina. Bia, a foreigner who moved to Argentina. Ambar, the rich bad girl, Carmin, the rich bad girl.
The "mystery" they have to solve in Soy Luna is that they have to find out who Sol Benson is, what happened in the accident and who Luna's parents are. In Bia they have to find her missing sister and what happened in the accident. Anyway, I could criticize a lot more this poorly made series, with a bad idea, bad script and bad songs, but that would be a never ending story. The series is very cliché and lacks grace, originality and has a failed story in many ways.
What bothers me the most is that the story does not match the script. For example, you were born in Brazil and your mother tongue is Portuguese, your family lived in Brazil all your life, so, the most logical thing would be that you speak to each other in Portuguese, right, but in the series they speak to each other in Spanish (their second language while in reality you would speak your native language). Another example of the many I can give you is that Alex's mother forbids Manuel to be with Bia, what the ...? How the heck is his aunt going to forbid him to be in a relationship.
The "jokes" are so silly that the characters are more funny than the joke itself. The actors overact a lot. The songs are the worst I've heard in any Latin American series in all of Disney Latin America.

The tv show, is too long and takes too many episodes to reach a conclusion and a breakthrough in the plot, the show never reaches a strong point where it grips the audience. And it is evident the lack of imagination and intellectual ambition, as well as the scarcity of money, in fact, this is the real reason why much of the Latin American Disney series, are so mired in deficiency, endlessly regurgitating the same old themes, and most of the time the same old plots, in the same old flat and drearily tiresome manner.
I don't understand all the fuss about this show, why do the "kids" look like old people? The actors don't look like teenagers at all, more like adults. There are a bunch of contrived characters, who talk and behave unrealistically, in a town where a series of implausible events occur. I can't stand the script, sorry, the plot doesn't make much sense. Although the only good things are Bia and Manuel, the actors.
The most ironic thing is that it's a musical series, and the songs have a lot of auto-tune and the actors don't even sing well! The acting and singing are terrible except for the main characters Isa and Julio. The characters are very superficial, I decided to skip parts or even to stop watching the series because of how long and boring it gets. It is very predictable what is going to happen. The decisions made by the characters are hopeless. And worst of all, are the 30 year old adults acting like teenagers. You can't even believe the storyline, because nothing makes sense, not the characters, not the acting, not the singing, not the drama, not the romance. Well, not to mention the low budget and the poor quality of the production and scripts.
The tv show is pretty bad, it has no quality, the acting is not good and the plot and dialogues are absurd, besides, not even the actors are teenagers, what the heck!
