Critics of the Hollywood film and TV industry like to joke that the business loves nothing more than to give itself awards. Yet industry pundits will have the last laugh when the Critics Choice Assn. holds its popular 27th annual awards gala. Originally scheduled for Jan. 9, the show has been postponed due to Covid-19 concerns. A statement from the organization states that they are “in regular communication with L.A. County Public Health officials, and we are currently working diligently to find a new date during the upcoming awards season in which to host our annual gala in-person with everyone’s safety and health remaining our top priority.”

What started as an untelevised event decades ago during which membership awarded their top picks in a multitude of film categories (television awards have only been included since 2011), the evening is now a full-fledged star-studded affair that will be broadcast on both the CW and TBS.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 4 was a Sarah-centric installment that shed a lot of light on her plight to find Wendell, and it was a decent hour that advanced many of the plots.

Sarah's heart was in the right place as she traversed this area that hadn't been as affected by the nuclear blasts as the other locations we've visited throughout Fear the Walking Dead Season 7.

The series excels when it delves into the finer details of characters, and for the most part, Sarah has spent her time on the periphery, so it was a nice change of pace to learn more about her.

It was just a shame we didn't get to see Wendell in the flesh to confirm his fate. Strand could be lying to Sarah to allow her to move on with her life and potentially become an...

Choi returned to the hospital, but he wasn't the only one with something to prove.

On Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 7, he had trouble passing a test involving a fake patient and a chest tube, but when Will needed him in a pinch, he got that tube in.

Meanwhile, the drugs she was taking might have augmented Vanessa's anxiety, but either way, she was lucky that all the tests she was running turned out to have a purpose.

Choi's return was one of the most highly anticipated of the season, but I had to laugh at Maggie's reaction.

Fear the Walking Dead is going all-in on the nuclear apocalypse, and I'm here for every single minute of it.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 3 was another episode that delved deeper into the characters, and it gave Keith Carradine and Jenna Elfman a lot to work with.

John is newer to the show, but it's clear there are many storytelling possibilities with him. I appreciated that he had to confront his emotions about all of the women murdered by Teddy.

Ugh. Just when Archer seemed like he couldn't sink any lower, he took his battle against psychiatry to a whole other level.

On Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 3, he demanded all doctors spend as little time with each patient as possible and then threatened to transfer Charles out of the Ed because Charles didn't comply.

Not only did he miss the point of why Charles spends time with his patients, but he made what seems like an empty threat. How soon is Ethan coming back so that we can get rid of this power-hungry idiot?

It's hard to tell what Archer's problem is.

I knew Salen was going to be trouble.

As Glassman said, she started as a fake patient before taking over the hospital and demanding changes that didn't necessarily serve patients.

On The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 2, she alienated everybody and contributed to Shaun having another Autistic meltdown. And I don't know how much more I can take of her, either!

Salen is the stereotypical hospital administrator, full of ideas that look good on paper but don't work well in practice.

In one sense, the idea of "serving clients" makes sense if, by serving clients, the hospital means giving superlative medical care so that patients are given the best chances of surviving and thriving even when they are diagnosed with serious diseases.

The Flash dealt out another filler episode, much to our dismay but was it better than The Flash Season 7 Episode 13?

Unfortunately, The Flash Season 7 Episode 14 was no more successful than its predecessor.

Ultraviolet returned, and Allegra was convinced that she could redeem her cousin thanks to Barry's influence. However, all that was accomplished was digging up the past and rehashing old storylines that we thought were long forgotten.

Allegra was the star of the hour, as was her troubled relationship with Ultraviolet -- Aka Esperanza.

Her boss's husband inspired her to change Esperanza's heart and bring her over to the good side. After all, it is in Team Flash's nature to never give up on people.

To them, everyone is redeemable.

Barry: ...I'm zooping Iris away for a little vacation. Actually, it was Chester's idea. You remember?

Family took on a whole new meaning on The Flash Season 7 Episode 10.

The core of this show has always been the relationships and friendships between all the members of Team Flash. And the Forces have somehow made their way into their family, whether they liked it or not.

We never thought that this found family would include as many people as it now does, but every addition does seem to come with a couple of people leaving. Unfortunately, it wasn't of their own free will.

Iris, Alexa, and Bashir are dead -- for now.

Lately, every episode of The Flash ends with someone dying or someone coming back to life. Let's just hope that the ending of The Flash Season 7 Episode 11 shows Iris and her newfound children alive again.

According to separate person familiar with the matter, the cancellation was not tied to the show’s performance but a redesign of NatGeo’s strategic focus. The Sopranos is one of the most influential television shows in history - if not the most influential. It helped launch the cable boom of the 2000s, it helped popularize the concept of the television anti-hero (many shows throughout the 2000s would feature an antihero to some capacity), and of course, it took full advantage of the popularity of the gangster genre.

One of them is ignoring Gilmore Girls Season 7.

There's plenty to complain about with Gilmore Girls Season 7. The dialogue's off. Characters are introduced or reintroduced without adding much to the show. The Lorelai and Chris saga takes up too much narrative real estate, and the list goes on. 

On the more positive side, Lorelai and Richard's relationship was warmest during Gilmore Girls Season 7, and Logan received serious character development.

It’s another big week for BTS. Fresh off another Number One album and their third chart-topping single in a row, the global superstars unveiled their new Fila partnership Monday, with the launch of “Project 7,” a new BTS-fronted apparel, accessories and footwear collection for Fila.

Available now on Fila.com, the limited-edition collection is modeled by all seven members of the group, and represents BTS’ first campaign with Fila since they were announced as global brand ambassadors for the company earlier this year.

Baby Yoda has a big adventure ahead of him. In Chapter 13 of The Mandalorian, “The Jedi,” the audience and Din Djarin both learn two important pieces of information. First, the kid’s name is Grogu. Perhaps it’ll catch on as well as Baby Yoda did? Second, Ahsoka Tano tells Din to take the Force-sensitive toddler to the old Jedi Temple on the planet Tython, where he’ll be able to reach out to other Jedi across the galaxy.

Din Djarin has plenty of reason to continue this journey with the baby. He’s grown to love Grogu, who at first reminded the Mandalorian of himself when he discovered the kid as an orphan on Arvala-7. Apex Legends players dissatisfied with Season 7’s revamped progression systems need not voice their criticisms any longer.

Clearly in agreement with the battle royale’s loyal community that it missed the mark with Ascension‘s Xp accrual rates, Respawn Entertainment has swiftly rolled out a fix which should drastically cut down on the time required to hit max rank. Addressing concerns over on Twitter, the studio confirmed that a hotfix should now be live in-game that straight up slashes the experience points required to get a single star (multiple of the latter are required to hit higher tiers of the Battle Pass) by half. In lieu of that welcome news, then, just 5,000 (previously 10K) Xp is now required for each star, making the climb much less of a daunting task for more casual-leaning players.

This means, of course, that folks who consider themselves hardcore will likely reach rank 100 long...
