Kiana Madeira has taken on the role of an iconic DC character by voicing Supergirl in the hit animated show My Adventures with Superman. A shift to the Dcu may not be outside the realm of possibility, and Madeira already knows who she'd most want to play.
On Reddit, Madeira fielded some fan questions in promotion of the show. She was asked about another role she'd want to play in James Gunn's Dcu, and it seems like it was an easy choice for her to pick Zatanna. There have been attempts in recent years to get a Zatanna project off the ground, but they never made their way out of development hell. If such a project gets underway at DC Studios anytime soon, Madeira will be hoping that Gunn will give her a call.

Actors often voice their interest in specific roles, and Canadian actress Kiana Madeira is the latest to express her desire to portray Zatanna, a beloved and promising character in DC Comics.
Kiana Madeira, a rising Canadian actress, gained recognition through Netflix’s popular teen drama series “Trinkets” and further solidified her status with her role as Deena in the 2021 Netflix horror film trilogy “Fear Street.” In 2021, she joined the After series as Nora in “After We Fell” and has appeared in various television projects, including a minor role in “The Flash” and voicing Supergirl in the animated series “My Adventures with Superman.”

The Dcu is still very young, and we have yet to see how James Gunn’s vision will come to life and what it will look like. But, from the looks of it, Gunn has a very firm vision of what he wants to create, and fans of DC Comics definitely have a lot to be excited about. Not many projects have been announced and planned as of the time of writing, but one common topic is related to the actors who might appear in the Dcu, as casting is always a very important aspect of a project. In light of that fact, fans are always proposing their own choices, but some actors are publically promoting themselves for certain roles!

The following contains spoilers for My Adventures with Superman Season 2, Episode 5, "Most Eligible Superman," which debuted Jun. 15 on Adult Swim.
When My Adventures with Superman announced Supergirl was going to be in Season 2, fans were immediately hyped. Kara Zor-El has been one of the most fascinating characters, not just in the House of El, but DC, in general. It's why many kept viewing the CW's Supergirl series, why they enjoyed Sasha Calle's depiction, and why they're anticipating Milly Alcock's Supergirl in James Gunn's new Dcu.
My Adventures with Superman's version of Kara packs quite the punch. She isn't initially a hero, however, which adds layers of nuance and mystery to the character. Interestingly, a big part of what makes her appeal is the emotion behind the voice.

The PS5’s life cycle so far has been unique, to say the least. The console launched to much acclaim back in November 2020, and yet it still feels like we’re still in a transitional phase into the new console generation. Due to manufacturing simply not being able to keep pace with the console’s stupid-high demand, many of the premier games on the system have been released as cross-gen titles to compensate for the PS5’s initially low install base.
Despite these hurdles, the PS5 has quietly amassed a superb library of games in its first three years that offer a little something for everyone. From the sweeping, cinematic epics put forth by PlayStation’s first-party studios, to some wildly creative indie gems that captured the imaginations of the gaming community from out of nowhere, the PS5 catalog is shaping up quite nicely as it enters the next phase of its tenure.

Members of the Screen Actors and Writers Guilds picketed outside of Netflix in Los Angeles on Tuesday in the hopes of sending an important message to the streaming giant: They think Netflix has the opportunity to lead other streaming services and studios toward reaching a deal with the writers (WGA) and actors guilds (SAG-AFTRA) since they’re also responsible for creating the current status quo.

Over the last few years, Netflix's best teen series have instantly won over the hearts of real-life teens and the young at heart. With no restrictions to adhere to, Netflix has allowed these teen shows to be unapologetically authentic depicting both the highs and lows of teenage life. From ensemble casts to shows that center around one main teenager there is certainly a teenage show for everyone to relate to on the streaming service. Whether it's a comedy or a drama, Netflix's teen shows are currently in a league of their own.
Several of Netflix's top-rated teen series has only had one to two seasons. However, Netflix continues to put out new, impactful, and authentic teen shows that push boundaries while confronting the very real-world issues that teenagers are growing up with in the 2020s. They say that opposites attract, and there's no greater proof than the enviably-named Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and her bubbly girlfriend Yukio (Shioli Kutsuna). Negasonic debuted her explosive powers in the first "Deadpool" movie, and she was joined in the 2018 sequel by Yukio, who had previously been played by Rila Fukushima in "The Wolverine," but has since undergone a complete makeover of her look, personality, powers, and, well, pretty much everything except her name. Blame the timeline.
Speaking of messed-up timelines, Deadpool's place in the space-time continuum is about to get even more funky as he transitions into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for "Deadpool 3." But at least he won't be alone; Deadline reports that both Hildebrand and Kutsuna have now closed deals to return in "Deadpool 3," which will be directed by Shawn Levy. At least we can rest assured that there'll be someone in the room to say "Hi,...

Master Gardener has a small, but well-known cast. The film, written and directed by Paul Schrader, had its premiere at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. It’s finally being released in theaters, and it brings with it the talents of the cast, led by Joel Edgerton in the titular role.
Master Gardener follows the title character as he works to be redeemed for his past crimes, mentors a young woman, and keeps his head down as he appreciates the land that he cultivates on a daily basis. Ahead of the film’s release, it received mostly positive reviews from critics. Schrader gathered a good cast to star in the movie, a mixture of famous actors and others who are lesser-known. With Edgerton in the lead role, he’s surrounded by a capable supporting cast that brings Schrader’s story to life.

Based on the memoir by musician sisters Tegan and Sara Quinn, High School deals with their coming-of-age story as they grow up in the '90s, surrounded by the era-specific grunge and rave music and familiar classroom experiences.
Currently, in its first season, the Amazon Freevee Original will impress fans of slightly edgier teenage comedy-dramas that focus on love, and music. As the Quinn sisters are openly gay and active voices in the LGBTQ community, High School also offers a glimpse at their struggles with their own sexual identity in their younger years. Similar high-school dramas on gender and identity can hence be added as its companion watches.

Even though it lasted for only a season, Freaks And Geeks has acquired a cult fandom over the years, with many of its young stars like Mae Whitman, Seth Rogen, and Jason Segel working as mainstream stars today.

After a long wait, Black Adam finally premiered in movie theaters on Friday, October 21st, and the Dceu fandom couldn't be more excited. The antihero movie portrays Teth Adam (or Black Adam), played by Dwayne Johnson, a formerly enslaved man with the powers of six ancient deities that turned him into their Champion.
One of the aspects people have enjoyed more about the movie is its amazing cast, with great actors such as The Rock, Pierce Brosnan, and Noah Centineo. Other members of the cast are not as well known, but their role in the movie was equally amazing, especially Bodhi Sabongui, who plays the charismatic and hopeful Amon Tomaz, a crucial character in Black Adam's journey.

Black Adam will be the first exclusively theatrical release for the Dceu since Birds of Prey, which found its way to streaming soon after its release due in large part to the coronavirus. Black Adam has been in the works for years, but after its struggles to make it through to its final stages, it's finally been released.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been attached to the movie as its lead for years, but it took some time for the production to fill out the rest of the cast. With that time, they were able to stack the cast with new and familiar faces that will bring to life some of DC's lesser known characters.
Dwayne Johnson - The Fast & Furious Franchise

WaterTower Music has released the first music to be heard from the upcoming New Line Cinema action adventure “Black Adam,” starring Dwayne Johnson. The first-ever feature film to explore the story of the uncompromising DC antihero comes to the big screen under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”). The Black Adam Theme (from “Black Adam”) by highly respected Grammy Award-winning and Emmy-nominated composer Lorne Balfe has just been released – in advance of the film and soundtrack release. “Black Adam” smashes into theaters and IMAX internationally beginning 19 October 2022, and in North America on October 21, 2022.
Balfe’s vision for the music of Black Adam encompasses an exploration into the back stories that define the characters. The composer commented on that approach. “It was exciting to get into the Black Adam theme, and I really wanted to capture his essence as the DC comic book world’s anti-hero. We had a large...

Paul Schrader woke up in New Orleans with four days of shooting left on his new movie, “Master Gardener,” when he thought he was going to die. He had severe breathing problems and trouble seeing out of his left eye, so he decided to get up and go to work.
“I knew if I called 911, those bastards would never let me out of the hospital, and the film would not be finished,” Schrader said. “So I lay there in bed and said, ‘Well, maybe I won’t wake up tomorrow — but would I rather not wake up tomorrow or wake up in the hospital room, knowing I can’t finish my film?’ And so I made my decision.”
Schrader still hasn’t figured out the specific cause of those ailments, but the 76-year-old’s commitment to filmmaking at all costs isn’t a surprise. “Master Gardener” is another of Schrader’s man-in-the-room dramas,...

The Hollywood Reporter said during the panel discussion:
Johnson tackled an age-old question: who would win in a fight, Black Adam or Superman? Earlier in the week, rumors circulated that Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill might show up or send a video message for the panel, but that didn’t come to fruition.
Said the actor of a matchup between the DC characters: “Pound for pound, they are pretty close. I guess it probably all depends on who is playing Superman.

“Heartstopper” fans might have actual heart attacks on Thursday, June 16, when Primetime Emmy voting starts with the Netflix sleeper hit absent from the ballots.
