When the characters get on and off of the bus, on the outside it indicates that it's bus #320. On inside, it's bus #423. The bus must have a split personality. :)
Cara removes a fresh-baked pie from the oven with a towel and hands the pie to Lee. Lee holds the pie with the towel with his right hand but hooks his bare left thumb on top of the, supposedly very hot, glass pie pan to hold it.
Shortly after the couple drives past the Joplin, MO sign, shots of Cara in the passenger seat show tall mountains in the background.
When Heath sings his new song, everyone in the family joins in with both verses and playing instruments, even though this is his first time playing the song.
The timer goes off and she takes the freshly-baked pie from the oven. It's in a glass pie pan. She handles it with a cloth since obviously it's supposed to be hot. She hands it to him with the cloth underneath but when he takes it, he puts his thumb on the glass and leaves it there much longer than it would take to burn his thumb very badly had the pan actually been hot.
