It's really just a longer SDS episode, A-1 was on thier A-Game with the animation.

Rating 7.0

From what I remember, it was fine. It just felt like a longer episode of SDS. The main antagonists were literally a step down from the ten commandments but still a good watch.

okay film

The Seven Deadly Sins travel to the Sky Temple in search of an elusive ingredient.

The movie itself wasn't bad but's not particularly some i could call great either.

Not bad

As a fan of The Seven Deadly Sins anime series, Prisoners of the Sky offers a visually vibrant and action-packed addition to the franchise, but it ultimately feels more like a high-budget filler episode than a fully fleshed-out feature film.

The animation is top-tier, and the action sequences-especially those involving Meliodas and Escanor-are thrilling and flashy, just what fans have come to expect. There are also a few decent moments of humor and heart, staying true to the show's style.

However, the story is where the movie stumbles. The plot is incredibly formulaic: a forgotten ancient race, a new powerful villain, and a rushed conflict resolution. The characters feel underused or one-dimensional, especially considering the rich personalities in the main series. New characters introduced in the Sky Temple setting don't get enough development to make us care much about their fate.

In short, Prisoners of the Sky is entertaining if you're already a fan, but it doesn't add much to the larger narrative of the series. It's a fun watch once, but probably not something you'll revisit.

Fantastic Movie

Honestly the Movie was just incredible, it really delivered on the storyline, character development, action scenes and comedic jokes. I just loved; the style and how each character was important to the plot.

I was watching in bed, in the darkness, giggling with hype and happiness, I cant remember the last time a Movie brought me so much joy. I cant wait to watch it again!

I knew a quarter through this animation that it was a 10/10.

*Allow me to start with this; I've never written a review for a film before. I'm just a guy who enjoys quality content and anime comes close to the top of my list among my favorite kinds of content. This film was so good I had to voice my opinion. Thank you. THE REVIEW: After watching both seasons of "The Seven Deadly Sins" and having all of the backstory to go on, the story in this movie is so perfect for the characters from TSDS. It was suspenceful, drawing, and honestly emotional at times. The animation is top notch, exactly what I would expect for TSDS which is filled with intense fighting and lots of magic. I enjoyed every minute of this movie! Not to mention, it's on Netflix!! How could I complain? Great Work, Noriyuki Abe and Yasuhito Nishikata!! 10/10

Disappointing

Total waste of the characters and that weak plot, already in the first part of the animation is delivered everything, tried to create a twist with tips so weak that even a child can quickly deduce. Disappointing!

Metaphor

Melioda's cooking is like a metaphor representing Nanatsu in general, and particularly this movie: it looks amazing, and it tastes bad.

Best movie ever!!! Patiloquita deal with them

The performance of the pig called Patiloquita was spectacular, the plot a ten. The pig "Patiloquita" is very powerful, she deserves to be made a series for herself, here I propose a title for the series "The adventures of Patiloquita after the great war". A kiss and a hug. XOXOXO

Pretty Great

Overall this movie has the same overall feel of the show. It has amazing animation, great fight scenes, and an entertaining story. I'm not sure where this fits in with the show's cannon, and I don't care because it was just amazing. I would highly recommend checking this out, even if you're not a fan of the show.

Best side story

Best side story of SDS. Most Beautiful animation! I really ejoyed the story, very well written.

The story really captures the characters the right way, personally I feel like the writers lost control of the ending in the manga and the last seasons of the animated series have kind of ruined it for me. But watching this movie always shows me what SDS could and should have been. The movie is an absolute masterpiece. The animation is beautiful and detailled. I watched this movie many times with friends and we all agree they should have made more movies with regard to the adventures of the SDS.

I am writing this review in the hope that in the future more animated masterpieces like this will come. If you loved the concept of SDS and are dissapointed in the ending/last seasons/knights of black etc. You will love this movie! Remember this movie will always be an amazing story on its own!

It is very helpful to know when and how this movie was created, to know that those people were able to do a great job with the movie and the voices because when I saw this movie I felt all the emotions of the characters
