DULL

This movie is a slow and tedious experience. The plot is convoluted and difficult to follow, with wooden acting that fails to engage the audience. The pacing is sluggish, making it difficult to stay engaged with the story. The soundtrack is also forgettable, failing to add any atmosphere or emotion to the scenes.

The characters are also one-dimensional, with no depth or complexity to them. This makes it difficult to relate to them or care about their plight. The dialogue is also cliché and predictable, making it difficult to stay invested in the story.

Overall, the movie is a slow and tedious experience that fails to engage the audience. It has a forgettable soundtrack, wooden acting, and a convoluted plot that is difficult to follow. They should have invested in better sound equipment.

Bleak

This movie is pretty hard to review without giving away any spoilers. I liked the cinematography, with long shots and a beautiful (but also heavily blue tinted throughout the film) island setting. The acting was also quite good. The soundtrack minimal but there when needed and supported the movie.

It is a bold move to make a movie about the subject that comes into play, and you get the eerie hints that stuff is off from the beginning. That being said, it's very heavy and certainly not for everyone. Don't watch this if you have a disfunctional family. Or do, but be warned.

So Dark

A strong drama, with a beautiful landscape and setting at all times. It is best to go into this movie blindly, and let it unfold its dark twists as you try not to drown with the well thought through characters. Would definitely re-watch immediately for the setting if the story wasn't so heart breaking.
