Oats Studios on Netflix

Netflix made the bad decision to buy a couple of "post-apocalyptic" short films from Oats Studios that are terribly bad. In an attempt to make them more interesting, gore is plenty, while good script and good acting are absent. CGI is overused in all episodes. Script and plot are immature and childish. To be avoided at all costs.

While the premise rubs some the wrong way the story is quite funny.

This series asks the question: What if this is just a simulation created for a higher being's amusement. This is a concept that will upset some and be a refreshing depiction of reality from another perspective for others. I personally found it to be very amusing while at the same time a bit concerning about the nature of free will and mankind's position in the universe if we really are a creation rather than an abiogenetic event...a spontaneous explosion of life from a pool of chemicals evolving from single-celled organisms down through the millennia to our current state and position in the cosmos.

What if we are just a tabletop simulation?

Worth watching

Technically well made. You shouldn't expect a big story. It's a short piece with a different taste / perspective concerning how "god" works. It's a funny sarchastic approach. You Shouldn't take it too seriously... I mean it's god ;-).
