MasterChef Türkiye

As I was visiting Turkey, watched few episodes and felt sensory terror.

Pretty sure, eating like a Neatherlander is not an accustomed tradition in Turkey, unfortunately by so-called Judges of the Show.

Being familiar by the format from UK &US versions, it was a tragic view indeed. (contestants are bullied beyond reason of the concept)...sorry folks..no real info about local food (almost all entries are Arabic not Turkish (as I'm assured).

All I can say is MasterChef franchise needs to be more Selective when it comes to regions not well-known.

Haven eaten some of the best pallatible seafood tapas sort there, I'm flabbergasted that 5 shows that I've seen featured ToTaly Arabic cuisine..all pulse, dough, minced meat.

Since the show doesn't serve any purpose to inspire or motivate talented chefs or aspiring ones..Doesn't Deserve MasterChef TiTle

This is not a cooking show it's a toxic circus of narcissistic and histrionic people fighting with each other and having petty arguments for months. It got so pathetic that one person who came to the show to actually cook, (Emre Büber), got so emotionally drained and bullied that he intentionally messed up his cooking to be eliminated. ( I stopped watching the show when he left. Lots of people did )

And when they realized they got low ratings cause Emre left, they brought back eliminated people from past weeks for a contest to bring 2 of them back into the show. One of those who came back was a snake who had just been eliminated. The other was another yappy lowlife. They keep the manipulative gossipy ones to keep the ratings high cause apparently Turkish people love watching other people fight.

I was bored at the time of the pandemic and I watched 1 season.

I used to enjoy what Acun did, but as I got older, I realized that Acun didn't really do anything new and I didn't appreciate it. I don't want to watch any of Acun's work anymore.
