Hello Beautiful isn't just a film-it's a transformative experience. This powerful story moved me to tears and changed me in the best way. It's a reminder of the importance of showing up-for those facing cancer, yes, but for anyone silently struggling.
What makes Hello Beautiful so extraordinary is its raw authenticity. It strips away the noise and shines a light on what truly matters: love, connection, resilience, and hope. It's a film that doesn't just stay with you-it awakens you.
If you're looking for a story that inspires, uplifts, and urges you to be a better version of yourself or give more, this movie is for you!

I just watched Hello Beautiful, a soul-stirring film based on the novel by Christine Handy, at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival-and I'm still feeling the emotional waves. This isn't just a story about breast cancer. It's a deeply human journey of resilience, connection, and rediscovering your worth when everything else seems to be falling apart.
Whether you've walked this path yourself, supported a loved one through it, or simply want to understand the real face of strength-read the book. See the film. Let it remind you that behind every diagnosis is a whole, beautiful person with a story worth telling.
Hello Beautiful is a celebration of womanhood, vulnerability, and rising stronger than before.

I'm not a professional film critic-but I do pay close attention to the conversations a movie stirs long after the credits roll. Hello Beautiful is one of those rare films that doesn't just tell a story-it invites reflection, encourages dialogue, and leaves you sitting in its emotional impact.
Based on Christine Handy's bestselling novel Walk Beside Me, Hello Beautiful is a deeply moving portrayal of Willow, a successful model whose glamorous life is upended by a breast cancer diagnosis. What follows is not just a story of illness, but a powerful testament to resilience, identity, and transformation.
This film does what so few are brave enough to do-it looks at cancer and survivorship with honesty. There's no sugar-coating here, and yet, it is not bleak. It's layered with grace, vulnerability, and unexpected beauty. It also gives voice to the often unseen emotional toll of diagnosis and healing, not just on the individual but on family and friendships. You feel the raw moments of fear, the quiet victories, and the evolution of love in all its forms.
What struck me most were the layers within the story-how it explored self-worth, purpose, and connection in a way that felt real and relatable. Whether you've walked through cancer yourself or supported someone who has, there's something universally human in Willow's journey that will resonate.
Hello Beautiful is more than a film. It's a conversation starter about healing, courage, and the strength that comes when we allow ourselves to be seen, supported, and loved.

After a relatively seclusive 4 months, something told me to go see Hello Beautiful. It was the best thing I have done for myself since my 66 year old incredible husband lost his 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away four months ago.
This film gave an accurate voice to what he and I have been though from diagnosis, to surgery, to chemo, etc. For the first time, I felt his experience (and mine) were accurately depicted and I felt validated and so much better. This film is a must-see for anyone (patient, caregiver, family member, nurse, doctor) who deals with any type of cancer, not just breast cancer and not just women.
Thank you to the breast cancer survivor who had the bravery to tell her story no matter how difficult, and to the filmmakers who made the true experience come to life.
A rare gem (which is strange to say given the subject matter).

A very realistic depiction of life before, during and after cancer. It have me a glimpse into the real mental, emotional and physical challenges of cancer. It also served as a beacon of hope for those with cancer. A must see for anyone who is battling cancer or is supporting a loved one with cancer. The soundtrack was amazing as well.

This movie is about the real challenges women face in dealing with breast cancer. I attended the show with my daughters who each have had friends who took on this disease head on and survived. I now have a better understanding of this journey. The photography and music is phenomenal. I would recommend the movie to anyone who wants to become involved in helping others along this journey. I had no idea as to the impact the entire family may experience in dealing with the issues of the patient. Excellent for All to appreciate the Beauty of Life Thank you Christine for sharing your story in a straight forward manner. Wishing you success in getting the word out for Hope for All Tom.

I was blown away by this film. It brings you through the journey of everyday life going thru cancer and how it affects you physically and mentally, and also the people around you. Nothing was held back and it was done so "beautifully". It made me sad, then happy but I walked away learning so much about hope and inspiration. Very well written and directed!
As a young woman I found this moving empowering and emotional! This is one of the most beautifully inspiring movies I have ever seen and I think everyone, especially women and young girls should see this! This movie will make you smile, laugh, cry, and feel so emotionally invested into the story! This movie should light into the hard lives of cancer patients. This movie needs to be seen by more people because of the fact that everyone has some connection to cancer. This movie will touch everyone's heart strings. This movie will make you leaving the movie theater, wanting some way to help others.

Based on Christine Handy's bestselling novel Walk Beside Me, this movie is about the real challenges women face in dealing with breast cancer, treatments and family. I attended the show in Cincinnati OH and I now have a better understanding of the journey of a friend of mine. The photography and music is phenomenal. I would recommend the movie to anyone who wants to become involved in helping others along this journey. I had no idea as to the impact the entire family may experience in dealing with the issues of the patient even though I myself am a survivor. I did not have to have a mastectomy or chemo and I do have survivors guilt at times because of this. I believe this movie is an excellent for everyone to appreciate the Beauty of Life. Thank you to Christine for sharing your story in a straight forward manner.
Beautiful movie of the real and raw moments and emotions behind one fighting their breast cancer diagnosis in the midst of their family. The music was powerful and magnificent!! Thank you Chris for sharing your story! Must see and I wish my husband and daughter were with me to see this incredible film. The relationships are very relatable, and you can feel the intense emotion in their conversations, reactions and struggles. I also loved the reality of the overwhelming feelings of wanting to be connected with your family, even more as a power source to get through the sickness and pain that one endures.

This film tells the emotional journey of a young woman diagnosed with breast cancer. She has made her living as a model and defines herself through the lens of a society that values external beauty. The screenplay artistically depicts the woman's struggles and triumphs as she comes to recognize her inner beauty. It realistically portrays the impact that a diagnosis has on an entire family as well as the importance of supportive friends. As a breast cancer survivor/thriver of twenty-four years, I truly appreciate this raw but truth-filled story of hope! Thank you, Christine Handy, for being a hope facilitator!

Hello Beautiful is a tremendously powerful film that pulls back the curtain on the personal journey Breast Cancer Survivors and those in their inner circle travel.
After viewing this film with dozens of Breast Cancer Survivors, I looked to them for an opinion as to the authenticity of the messaging. Powerful, Real, Exactly, That's Me, Raw are some of their responses.
Hello Beautiful will make you uncomfortable, instill some pain, and create plenty of empathy. Most importantly, though, this movie will bring you hope, especially if you or someone you know has ever received this diagnosis.
Everyone should see Hello Beautiful simply because one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point. Being armed with insight from this film will be a critical difference maker!

Beautifully done!
My husband, son and myself were so moved by this film. It sparked some real and deep conversations within our family after the viewing!
This film captured the real life journey of a woman with breast cancer to a tee! As women, we power through so much and many times others have no idea what life looks like behind closed doors or what we are dealing with emotionally. This is one of the most real depictions of a breast cancer journey that I have ever seen. The actors did an amazing job!
It is a must see for all men and women!
I can't wait to share this film with my family and friends.
Bravo!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Hello Beautiful is a must see. It is a very well written and very well directed film. Based on a true story of courage and strength. You can actually feel the pain and suffering of the main actress. Cancer hits every family in one way , shape, or form. It puts in to reality that without your health, you have absolutely nothing.
