“Chasing Agent Freegard” is based on the story of British conman Robert Hendy-Freegard, who masqueraded as an MI5 agent and fooled several people into going underground for fear of assassination by the Ira.
Arterton’s reps at CAA confirmed her casting to Variety.

At last. After a star-spangled American Film Market lineup this year was met by an initial near deafening silence from buyers, European film-tv group Studiocanal confirmed Wednesday that it has pre-sold the world, apart from the U.S. and China, on Liam Neeson action thriller “Retribution.”

Bill Clinton is to exec produce a documentary series about the American Presidency for History.
The 42nd President of the United States becomes the latest former Commander-in-Chief to turn to television, following in the footsteps of Barack Obama.
The untitled project will look at the history of the position as well as the struggles that Presidents have gone through. Clinton is also likely to be featured on camera.
The project is produced in-house by A+E Networks’ own production unit. Other producers are also expected to be revealed soon.
The series comes after President Clinton participated in History Talks, the A+E Networks’ live event at Carnegie Hall. He spoke alongside George W. Bush at the event, which was moderated by Pulitzer-prize winning Presidential Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Earlier this year, Bill Clinton undertook a publicity tour — his first in some time disconnected from his wife’s political career, and one designed to promote a thriller novel he’d co-written with James Patterson. But what perhaps was meant as the 42nd president’s sprightly display of charisma and distraction from the news generated by the 45th quickly became something for which he was, strangely, hardly prepared. Faced with questions about his treatment of White House intern Monica Lewinsky, he bobbled them badly, seeming defensive and aggressive, unwilling to let in any point-of-view other than his own narrative in which he’d long since been forgiven.
