A film about vulnerability, a coming of age story , fair portrait of indecisions, apparences, looking for sense of life, crushes against life and first steps to maturity. I loved the beautiful work of Zea Duprez, the symbols - from meteorit to the short films about birth of world , the last scene and the craft of her relations .
A beautiful film for a very precise target because its virtue is to be discovered in real sense as a sort/ kind of personal , very personal story.

I've rarely had less sympathy for a protagonist than I did for Nina, whose self-centered narcissism was quite annoying. But importantly, my sympathy (and empathy) began to improve about 3/4 through the movie, beginning with her sad reaction to the bullfight. Since others might find her more sympathetic from the beginning, maybe they'll find her more engaging.
Like others, I did feel like this was a coming-of-age story, which gave me even greater hope for Nina's future. But even after she became more likable she was making immature decisions and taking selfish actions that derailed my feelings for her.
But at least she wasn't Morad, her love interest, who I found thoroughly detestable for the entire film. Talk about self-centered! Morad is someone who will be stuck in the same town doing virtually nothing with his life until he finally keels over. At least Nina has a shot at making something of her life. You can see the glimmer of hope glowing inside her in the final scenes.
Performances, direction and cinematography were all pretty good, which made the film quite watchable. The last third of the film elevated my score, but the entirety of the plot and emptiness of the characters were just not endearing for me.

Modern tale about the end of adolescence that owes a lot to Zéa Duprez, the main actress who illuminates the film with her freshness and her advantageous silhouette. Her acting makes me think of both Adele Exarchopoulos and Sandrine Bonnaire. For a first film (director & actors), it's rather successful, even if the script is sometimes messy. As a synthesis: 5/6 of 10. Without a doubt, I'll see their second movie.
There's something otherworldly about this well-directed soft French coming-of-age story on a somewhat-hard background. It meanders along, focused in it's study, sometimes lingering unnecessarily on what may or may not be important, surprising, with time left to ponder and the occasional moment of exquisite cinematography, scored gently, moving things forward to an ultimate ambiguous conclusion. I was drawn in and left in wonder../wondering.

- TriviaZéa Duprez's debut. She was 16 during filming. "I was in a bar in Sète and there was a concert. I was a bit lazy to go but my friends forced me a bit. At the end of the concert, one of my friends went to smoke a cigarette with a rather surprising man: he was dressed all in linen, with long hair and a beard. This man told my friend to call me so we could talk. He wanted to know if I wanted to audition and I was a bit drunk so I told him "You're really taking the piss, what's this ambush?" He gave me some papers and the next day I sent an email and photos. I was first told that the director had found someone and they called me back a week later telling me to come back. I met the director in Sète, we talked and we said we were going to make the film together," she revealed.
