Why Canceling the Workaholics Movie Was a Mistake
Image
With Adam DeVine's recent success starring in Netflix's The Out-Laws (produced by Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore Productions), the actor is once again in the spotlight. So, fans are questioning why the Workaholics movie was put on hold by Paramount+. Considering DeVine's recent performance and the joint co-star Workaholics podcast This is Important gaining popularity, now seems like the best time to get the gears turning once more.

Playing a familiar role to the one he portrays in the hit comedy series Workaholics, DeVine carried The Out-Laws film into the top 10 of the Most Popular Movies IMDb Chart with his reluctant shrieks and playful banter. Along with the film's success, DeVine has gained popularity featuring in his joint co-star podcast, This is Important, along with Blake Anderson, Anders Holm, and Kyle Newacheck. With a focus on discussing only the issues of the utmost importance, such as falling out of a tree,...

“Game Over Takes Tapsee To Next Level” – A Subhash K Jha Review
Game Over

Starring Tapsee Pannu,

Directed by Ashwin Saravanan

There is blood on the hands of all of us who quietly watch women and children being brutally violated and then we move on saying, ‘It can’t be helped’.

This theme of helplessness sows the seeds of Game Over, a splendid heart-in-the-mouth suspense thriller which turns the concept of women’s empowerment on its head, as the female hero (Tapsee Pannu) tackles the demons in her own head before training her guns on the satanic criminals who prowl outside her window on the streets waiting for their prey.

Game Over cuts its plot into to neat halves. In the first-half we see Tapsee, in her element from the word ‘go’ , dealing with a trauma in her past that comes back to her every year on New Year’s eve. There is no escaping the vicious circle of crime and karma.

'Game Over' review: Taapsee Pannu's thriller is a game changer
Cinema A wonderfully original film, ‘Game Over’ has excellent writing and brilliant performances. Sowmya RajendranIn the game of life, Taapsee Pannu, who at level zero was getting coconuts thrown at her navel, has zoomed past several phases to emerge as a superstar. In Game Over, Taapsee proves yet again that she’s here to stay. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, who shares the story credits with Kaavya Ramkumar, Game Over has released in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. But the dialogues are minimal and it really does not matter in which language you watch the film as long as you keep your eyes wide open and take in all that’s there in the frame. The film begins creepily enough. In December 2017, a young woman, who is clearly being stalked, is brutally murdered. And she isn’t the only one. Cut to one year later, we meet game developer Swapna...

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has come on board to present the Hindi version of the Tamil-Telugu film "Game Over", starring Taapsee Pannu

"I am very kicked about presenting this game-changing film in Hindi.
