A pretty good show, great scenes

The show was shot at location up in the mountains, and it shows in the beautiful movie-ish scenes. The main story line is kind of a typical Chinese/eastern Asian fantasy soap story line----it is interesting in a very foreseeable way. However, the side stories are fascinating, especially the family drama of Jichong, the second male lead of the show, that was only touched upon. My feeling is that the show is worth the time even if one is only watching that secondary story line.

Came for Xiao Zhan but also fell in love with other characters!

Great production and storyline. As the story progresses, you will start to love all the characters. Great acting from the main leads and the supporting ones. Xiao Zhan definitely shows his acting talents even though it was his very first important role!

A great drama and fantastic love story

I am a fan of Sean Xiao and I am so excited to finally see his TV drama. When I see his face, tears streaming down my face, I have been waiting this moment for so long. He is a great actor, handsome, hardworking and honest. This show is one of the very first ones and I love every episode that has him in it.

Fantastic acting from everyone. Xiao Zhan did an amazing job. His acting is incredible. Absolutely loving his manly look in this series great to see a different side to him. A must see!

Beautifully shot scenes in the high mountains of China with an original plot. Also good acting and chemistry with all the main characters. Especially Xiao Zhang who has proven he not only has good looks but good acting as well.
