Copenhagen Road is a Canadian dramatic thriller film that was directed by Lee Chambers. The screenplay to the movie was written by Chambers and Kris Ketonen.
The film presents the private story of a man that is confronted by his past.
The main idea of the film was to show the lead character moving on with his life after leaving his past behind him.
Matt Connors is solid actor with a good expression of human emotion in his role. His character is strong despite his past difficulties.
I hope that everyone get to see Chambers latest work. The acting is good and the cinematography is beautiful.

Another production by the students and teaching staff of Confederation College, directed by Lee Chambers.
Matt Connors provides a stellar performance drawing the audience into his character's past actions with belief.
The atmospheric cinematography and score brings the story to life, despite a predictable plot, plot holes and continuity issues.

Lee-love your shots and how you film. I will have to go back and re-watch it because I want to look more at your angles and enjoy it more!
It would be a pleasure to work with you one day!
Great writing from you and Kris Ketonen!! I see so many films and the story line goes in a certain direction and I am like nooooooo, you are ruining it or it is not believable anymore.
I cannot wait to see more from you!

I loved everything about this short film from start to finish. Copenhagen Road immerses you into each character's world while it takes you on a thrilling ride to uncover the truth they share. The anticipation in each scene keeps you on the edge of your seat, until you are hit with a twist at the end that you did not see coming! Bravo to Lee and his cast and crew!
This is a tightly wrapped production that pulls you quickly into a scenario that you don't see coming until it is too late. Well written, acted and shot. Take a drive down Copenhagen Road.
Beautiful short movie. Love it!
Thriller, suspense, mystery, everything is here.
Great cinematic job!!! Just saw Copenhagen Road during a crowded festival screening for the second time and could feel the tension in the audience as the compelling movie and brilliant score take the audience for a great creepy ride. Chambers captures and orchestrates the complexities of the characters and the road to their destiny.
So happy I discovered this short movie! Well worth watching. I really enjoyed the lightning and camera angles and how it all played out! Gr8 work!

Copenhagen Road is a wonderfully dark short film directed by Lee Chambers and written by himself and Kris Ketonen. It stars Diana Cofini and Matt Connors as the only two characters interacting one night (for the first time?) at a car shop in this short, but tight, thriller. What follows is a suspenseful conversation, helped along with short flashback sequences and phenomenal acting. Masterfully directed and edited. This is definitely a must see short film

I love the beautifully ominous style reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock, with a haunting darkness with an inner soul of gorgeous grey tones, symbolizing and paralleling a dangerous inner beauty.
This is a must-see for anybody who is a fan of the suspense genre.

Tells a powerful story in a short and suspenseful 8 minutes. The suspense builds to a surprising reveal that delivers a powerful message. Many film-makers could learn from the way this story builds and delivers so efficiently.

Copenhagen Road is an unsettling ride, right from the start. It is purposefully shot and provides a lot for your eyes to feast on while the story unfolds. The original score by Fabia Acri & Marco Genovesi provides the short with an eerie feeling lurking, hidden right under the surface. All the elements meld together for a ride down Copenhagen Road; with all of its twists and turns.

In a night, a mechanic, after some reserves, accept to help a young woman with a flat tire. She goes to a party , on isolated road . She is strange dessed and barefoot . The car, like the road are familiar for mechanic, both parts of a past memory.
A bottle is broken and the excuse of man, like the absence of care of woman about broken glass becomes one of first significant clue for viewer about the presumed connection between characters.
And, indeed, they are not exactly strangers, an episod of their lives being, unfortunatelly, common.
A simple story , admirable crafted, inspired performances, wise constructed atmosphere , precise answer to the expectations and suppositions of viewer. In short, just profound beautiful movie.
