Exclusive: The In-Between: Unforgettable Encounters During Life’s Final Moments, a book about death, written by hospice nurse Hadley Vlahos is set to be turned into a scripted series.

UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, has landed the rights to the project in a competitive situation.

In The In-Between, Vlahos recounts the most impactful experiences she’s had with the people she’s worked with—from the woman who never once questioned her faith until she was close to death, to the older man seeing visions of his late daughter, to the young patient who laments that she spent too much of her short life worrying about what others thought of her—while also sharing her own fascinating journey.

There’s no writer yet attached but Vlahos will serve as an exec producer on the series.

Taylor Swift at an event for 2019 Golden Globe Awards (2019)
Los Angeles, Nov 25 (Ians) The 2021 Grammy Awards nominations are all about women power with Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa leading the way.

Beyonce is leading the contender at the 2021 Grammy Awards with nine nods. She is followed by Taylor Swift, Roddy Ricch and Dua Lipa, who earned six nominations each.

Brittany Howard, of Alabama Shakes fame, earned five nominations for her solo debut. Earning four each were Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Phoebe Bridgers, Justin Bieber, jazz pianist John Beasley and classical producer David Frost, reports Variety.

As a shocker, The Weeknd didn't get nominated. Despite being predicted to dominate the nominations at the 63rd annual Grammys, the pop-r&b superstar's "Blinding lights" single and "After Hours" album got zero nominations.

Beyonce will be competing against herself in the Record of the Year category. She is nominated in the category for "Black Parade" as well as "Savage". She fights Black Pumas,...

Coping With Covid-19 Crisis: Actress-Turned-Nurse Jennifer Stone Talks About Going From ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’ To The Frontline Of The Pandemic
Jennifer Stone
Nurse by day, actress by night — if there were a movie or TV show about Jennifer Stone’s life that would be the tagline.

For four seasons, Stone starred in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place as the eccentric and fashionable Harper Finkle, the best friend of Selena Gomez’s Alex Russo. The show ended in 2012, after which Stone went on to study psychology. In 2013, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. That changed her world, not only in her health but in her career trajectory. It was a spark that shifted her major from psychology to nursing.

Stone admitted she has always loved science — some might even call her a nerd — but that worked in her favor. Since her diabetes diagnosis, she has since graduated from nursing school and is now working in the ER at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank — though she still manages to keep one foot in acting.
