I started watching for ella ballinska but ended up getting invested in the other characters. They ratcheted up the fairy tale element but it worked. Kind of a parallel universe degrassi. The athena itself became the main character by episode 20.... Overall its a charming show with a mind numbingly good dose of fairy tale.

I liked that the show tried to be more inclusive with representating a variety of art focused students.

Definitely entertaining, lots of bright and colourful outfits, lots of artistic talent.

My fave character by far was Leigh, the most nuanced and least fake character. Also the best actress in the cast, able to show so much expression on her face whilst not over-acting.

I also enjoyed the flat mates Lexi and Miju, they add some lightness and showcase real friendship.

The show kinda fell flat for me though - with the overdone drama and sickly sweetness... Just ended up coming across as too fake.

Very inspiring! teenagers who learn about friendship and teamwork while trying to bring their dreams to reality.
