Late-night Hallmark Channel wouldn't play this as filler.

Those who thought this movie was "garbage" must have been looking for another mindless movie to compliment their favorite weekly program, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. If you are seeking another cretinous film to zone out to, this isn't the movie for you. My Stretch of Texas Ground has an intriguing story line that will touch your heart and make you contemplate where we're heading as a society. Highly recommended.

This is an intriguing concept about a middle eastern terrorist that infiltrates American soil, with the intent to kidnap and murder a Texas Senator. The only thing standing in his way is a local Texas Sheriff. If that sounds like Walker Texas Ranger well... that's because it's just like Walker Texas Ranger. So, if you're a fan of the show, give this one a shot. The plot is pretty straightforward and most of the characters and relationships stay pretty standard, so you pretty much know what you're getting from the start but there's a good amount of tension, guns, and hot pursuits that keep this one entertaining. Some of the acting doesn't always hit the mark but the main actor does a very good job. Thanks for the watch!
