AWFUL and IDEALIZED

Creepy film that is a bit stuck with the 2000 Manic Pixie Craze multiplied four times to much awful effect.

A lady who has no internal life on screen but being a hot 'babe' , is hounded by men stuck in their own milieu of loneliness. She helps them to come out of their shell (and get over their less desirable partners) by letting them get one up AND then it ends.

This IS BOTTOM OF THE PILE AWFUL. I am sorry but the creepy vibes that hounds Philippine Romance scene is NEXT level INSANITY. The guys here ARE CREEPY. Their loneliness does not make them less creepy AND their actions should be looked down upon. The girl here is a vision of love AND that is the only thing she is. Sadly, it does not work like Chungking Express because that has action-then-reaction in every little creepy ass thing that happened in that film. The take-out girl's action was given a head space and all. She was a ghost, and then she got discovered, and got served back. This plays out like the worst of Manic Pixie 2000s films. The guys are too self-absorbed, and the women are paper thin ideals. Nothing of note happens AND she is objectified galore.

Horrendous. I am shocked that it is acclaimed by local fans at ALL. This is BAD BAD BAD.
