A second 6-episode series of the show has been commissioned to be filmed in 2018 for broadcast in 2019 after an overwhelming response to the first series.
On Thursday, 7th November 2019, BBC Two announced that it has commissioned a 6-episode third series of the show to be broadcast in 2020.
On Tuesday, 29th September 2020, BBC Two announced that they have commissioned a 6-episode fourth series of the award-winning programme.
On Wednesday, 11th May 2022, BBC Two announced that they have commissioned Owl Power to produce a fifth series and Christmas Special of the popular programme. Pre-production on series five began in April 2022 but filming of series five will not commence until after Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse have finished their live tour of their "An Evening with Mortimer & Whitehouse" show on 15th May 2022.
