    Worth of your time

Better than I thought, pretty solid. Story was interesting and captivating and 'umbelivable' nailed this story. I really do hope Marie(and other victims)get better life now.

A finale with fitting quality for the series

Now THIS is the best episode in the series. It was a very nice conclusion to wrap things up with, and I'm glad they finally focused on Marie more than the detectives as that's what I had really wanted the whole time. I was very surprised however when the foster mother who was the first person to suspect Marie wasn't telling the truth did not make an appearance in this episode; that really felt like an important thing that should've been part of the conclusion to me. But everything else wrapped up very well.

    Completely absorbing

I could not stop watching this series. The writing and the acting were excellent. The first episode is hard to watch because the story is so tragic and yet seems so terribly plausible, but I'm so glad I continued with it. Absolutely worth a watch.

    Heartbreaking

Throughout all the episodes I was really moved by what was happening, I couldn't help but have this feeling of void in me. At the end, I just felt happy for everyone, but sad knowing that these things do happen and no one does nothing. This serie will be with me the rest of my life as a remainder that we should always help others and be kind. We didn't choose to live, but now that we are alive we shouldn't die without doing something.

    Golden quote of last episode

    That was wonderful mini series.

The focus of this series on mental and emotional issues.

    On last episode Marie met the lawyer, I love the dialogue between Marie & lawyer Bruce Bronstein, write it for you. Maybe lighting up your mind;
    • Marie Adler:
My whole life, I've just been like, Take what you get and just be happy that it's not worse. But something about this made me feel like... maybe that's not good enough this time.

    • Lawyer (Bruce Bronstein):
You know what happens when you decide you are not gonna just take what you get anymore?

    • Marie Adler:
    What?

    • Lawyer (Bruce Bronstein):
    You get more.

    • Trivia
Although the conversation between Marie Adler and Detective Duvall is based on real-life events, the actual conversation happened some years later, by which time both Marie and the detective upon whom Duvall is based had become mothers.
    • Goofs
At the end when Marie talks to Duvall, her iPhone case is on upside down.
    • Quotes

Marie Adler: That was the the hardest part of this whole thing. Waking up feeling hopeless and thinking things like... well., if the world is this bad do I even want to be in it, you know?
