Doesn t worth the time

I am sure that Kazakhstan is a beautiful and ugly country, by contrast but this representation of it it is far too boring. The shots are so long and there is no spirit in anything. Like everyone in dead or something. In any case this video recording has no substance at all. Exactly like looking at some photos for too long. I bet that the creator is boring like this video, i cannot call it a documentary or a film. I would like to see a representation of the Kazakhs in a different way, not in the most boring way possible. The most boring video ever, dont waste time watching. It is not introspecting, it is boring as hell.

A collection of very drawn out long shots

To be brutally honest, watching this documentary was like being shown a very long and boring slide show of your grandma's very long and uninteresting holiday. While I am super interested in the topic and would have loved to see more of Kazachstan, these drawn out stills of nothing are just too much for me and I didn't finish the documentary. Although I'm sure the director intended it to be mysterious, intriguing and artsy, this film came out utterly lifeless. I don't even know how to write 200 words about this. I could really summarize the entire film in one line: a series of extremely drawn out shots of empty landscapes and abandoned concrete buildings and monuments. There is an occasional human, there is an occasional camel. A car drives by, leaving clouds of dust. A person is watching a faraway rocket launch. Nothing happens, nothing is explained, nothing is really shown. It's all very disappointing - don't waste your time on this one.
