We’re now several months removed from the release of Thunderbolts*, and as fans anxiously await its arrival on Disney+, the director of the film has just shed light on some major behind-the-scenes changes. Jake Schreier, who also recently directed an episode of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, was tapped to direct Thunderbolts* with a script from Eric Pearson and The Bear’s Joanna Calo. The film was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022, and it’s one of the MCU’s biggest events in the Multiverse Saga, bringing together characters from various projects like Black Widow, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
One of the film’s brightest stars is Wyatt Russell, who returns as John Walker after first appearing in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. There was a rumor floating around that the original draft for Thunderbolts* had...

Since its full release in December 2023, fans of shooting sims have been asking when Ready or Not will be making an appearance on consoles. Thankfully, that question is answered, and the wait is (almost) over, but now the topic has changed to whether Ready or Not can do what many have failed to do in the genre – and that’s make the leap to consoles well. Thankfully, after some serious playtime with it, I’m glad to say that it seems to have mastered almost everything you’d need, whilst still retaining its core experience.
For those few people unaware, Ready or Not is developed by Void Interactive, an Irish-based studio comprised of a smaller team, which makes the work they’ve done all the more impressive. It’s important to note, to avoid any disappointment, Ready or Not is not an arcade shooter,...

Within the sterile geometry of the corporate office, a soul can calcify. Here, ambition is not a desire but a doctrine, and the self is measured in years of dedicated service. Susan has paid her tithe. For nearly a decade, she has been the exemplary performer, the high priestess of productivity, standing on the precipice of her ascension to the throne of CEO.
Her world is one of order, of earned rewards, a reality constructed with the bricks of her own relentless effort. Into this carefully built cathedral of certainty walks Larry. He is a question mark made flesh, an unnervingly strange man who appears without qualification or explanation. Larry is a glitch in the system, an agent of chaos whose very presence is a challenge to the established scripture of Susan’s world.
The collision is immediate and inevitable: the meticulous, linear path of ambition smashed against the bizarre,...

Avengers: Doomsday is quickly turning into one of Marvel’s biggest projects ever. With more and more names being confirmed, it feels like this movie is bringing the whole multiverse together.
The cast is packed with fan favorites like Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Tom Hiddleston, and Vanessa Kirby. And that’s just the beginning.
The movie will also feature several actors from the older X-Men films. Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn are all coming back. Patrick Stewart is back too, likely as Professor X again. But the biggest surprise? Robert Downey Jr. is returning, not as Iron Man, but as Doctor Doom.
While Marvel hasn’t shared the full plot yet, we know Doomsday is going to go all-in on the multiverse. Different realities are going to fall apart, and several teams will come into play, some that exist in the MCU already,...

For one, the 36th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe arrives with the full awareness that its audience is weary and increasingly disillusioned. The once-flashy illusion of mesmeric cinematic greatness has crumbled, and nearly every post-Endgame and No Way Home title lies artistically dead on arrival. In that sense, Jack Schreier’s interpretation of Marvel’s very own Suicide Squad works not only as a much-needed industrial course correction but also as a sobering testament to the franchise’s persistent dependence on meta-winks—something it can no longer untangle from, and perhaps the very ballast weighing it down.
Even so, this pivot into relatively expectation-less territory offers some of the most refreshingly legible ‘movie moments’ the studio has managed in years. For starters, the script—co-written by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo—strips away prestige delusions and meets the current state of superhero cinema where it stands: past redemption, but not past honesty.

Ever since Luffy unlocked the Gear 5 technique in One Piece, he has become truly invincible as he faced off against some of the strongest villains in the series. From Kaido to the Five Elders, Luffy has managed to not only survive but also win against them thanks to the strongest ability in his arsenal. But even the Gear 5 has a weakness that has affected Luffy’s battles.

As seen during his battles in the Egghead Island arc, Gear 5 consumes a lot of energy, and because of it, Luffy is not able to maintain his form for a long time. He constantly has to reactivate it to fight his opponents in One Piece, and to do that he needs to consume food. This drawback might be temporary, but it affects him in a major way, especially during fights.

Following the grand success of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios has faced quite a few hurdles in maintaining its once infallible consistency. A string of bow office disappointments, low ratings, and major cast changes hurt the production studio gravely and put fans wary and on guard. However, all of the worries should last only for a short while as the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman collaboration, Deadpool & Wolverine, aims to end the dry spell.

Warning: Contains spoilers for chapter #259 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Sukuna's Divine Flame technique in Jujutsu Kaisen is deadlier than Gojo's Unlimited Void. Divine Flame requires preparation with Cleave and Dismantle, creating a lethal trap after Sukuna's latest binding vow. Divine Flame ensures instant death, unlike Unlimited Void, but would not have been able to defeat Gojo by itself.
Jujutsu Kaisen has finally revealed Sukuna's mysterious fire technique and it arguably puts even Gojo's strongest technique to shame. The latest chapter explains Sukuna's Divine Flame technique in great detail along with the reason he could not use the powerful technique against Gojo despite being far more deadly than Unlimited Void.
Chapter #259 of Jujutsu Kaisen explains that Sukuna can only access Divine Flame after he has used Cleave and Dismantle. Divine Flame is much like hearth whose doors Sukuna can open only after he has prepped his ingredients or rather his opponents using Cleave and Dismantle,...

Winona Oak provides an unflinching look at the grief that she’s experienced since the death of her mother on her new EP Void.
Out Friday (May 3), the project is the latest from the Swedish songstress, who fans will recognize from her duet “Hope” with The Chainsmokers.
On it, her wistful voice and evocative lyrics are at their most heart-wrenching as she processes the loss of one of the closest people in her life to cancer.
For instance, focus track “Who Would I Be” is a soaring anthem that finds her dreaming of a chance to leave her nightmares behind in favor of a happier story. Poignant and relatable, it’s quality music with the most heart.
“I am really proud of this EP. It’s been the worst year of my life. So I can’t believe I put it all together somehow. I don’t understand how I did it sometimes,...

Ty Segall has shared a doozy of a new single called “Eggman.”
The musician’s second new song this year, “Eggman” lives somewhere between Magical Mystery Tour and David Bowie’s “Fame,” layering multi-textural guitar riffs over a mid-tempo groove. But as the track struts along, it becomes increasingly paranoid: “Your mouth is agape/ And caked with eggs,” Segall chants, before the tune explodes into a cacophony of noise. “You sit and rot/ Your mind with thought.”
There’s really no telling what “eggs” symbolize in Segall’s extended metaphor here, but the one-take music video for “Eggman” — which he made with his wife and frequent creative partner Denée Segall — takes an extremely literal approach. It’s just Segall in a cowboy-inspired getup, scarfing down hard-boiled eggs until he’s visibly suffering. Really, it’s a lot. Also, where is he purchasing reasonably-priced eggs in this economy? It is a disconcerting video,...

“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed Thursday that if the Netflix drama had made it to Season 5, fans would have finally gotten the crossover with The CW’s “Riverdale” that they have been waiting for since the Kiernan Shipka-led series debuted in October 2018.

We are saddened that it has been revealed that Netflix has canceled “Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina” and the series will come to a conclusion with part 4. The final season will consist of only eight episodes. Netflix says that the final season will begin streaming sometime in late 2020 and promises as “spooky, sexy & supernatural series finale”. Part 4 will see The Eldritch Terrors descending their way on Greendale and the coven must fight each of the Terrors, including The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness, all before facing The Void, which is “the End of All Things.” As the witches wage their war with the help of The Fright Club, Nick will also try to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart before its too late. “Working on ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ has been an incredible honor from Day One. Good news, everyone! Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 4 (or Part Four in the preferred parlance) is on track to air in late 2020. Now some less than good news…

Though Netflix has been on a bit of a cancellation spree of late, axing shows like Dead to Me, Ozark, and more, this one comes as a particular shock. It’s been a pretty good few weeks for Netflix subscribers, with big shows like Dead to Me, Ozark and The Last Kingdom, among a few others, all scoring renewals. But it seems not every property is that lucky, as TVLine brings word tonight that just days after Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene received the axe, Netflix has now pulled the plug on sister series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show’s final eight episodes will premiere later in 2020, though an exact date has yet to be revealed.
Speaking about the heartbreaking news in a statement made to the outlet, here’s what showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa had to share:

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will end its run with its upcoming Part 4, which will be released in late 2020, leading to “a spooky, sexy & supernatural series finale,” Netflix announced Wednesday, realizing first-look images from the series’ final chapter.
Originally developed for the CW, the Riverdale offshoot migrated to Netflix when the streamer offered a two-season order. The show’s seasons, referred to as Parts, ranged from 11 episodes, including a holiday special, in Part 1, 9 episodes in Part 2 and 8 each in Parts 3 and 4.
This is a typical lifespan for a successful recent Netflix scripted series; Ozark, one of the streamer’s most popular dramas, was just renewed for a fourth and final season. Sabrina‘s end date comes a few days after the other Riverdale offshoot, the CW’s Katy Keene, was canceled after one season. It is unclear whether any characters from either ending series would make their way to the mothership Riverdale.

Say goodbye, witches: “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” will end with its upcoming fourth season, Netflix said Wednesday.
The final chapter of the Kiernan Shipka-led drama will launch later this year, “with a spooky, sexy & supernatural series finale — but not before Sabrina Spellman reveals a few more tricks up her retro-chic sleeve.”
Per Netflix, “Over the course of Part 4’s eight episodes, The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale. The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one, all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things. As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?”
