Florida Girls starts strong. It's very funny, and pretty much nails a certain aspect of Florida life and certain Florida people (however exaggerated they may be). Unfortunately the last few episodes lead up to an event that focuses heavily on the worst character, Kaitlin. She sucks. The others are hilarious and charming in their own ways, but Kaitlin is a selfish, one dimensional jerk who sucks everyone else down with her. It's worth watching. Hopefully next season features less Kaitlin.

Florida Girls has a UK Inbetweeners Vibe to the comedy style & it works.

Anything done well & honestly, with truth, devoid of agenda, has a good chance of working & Florida Girls works.

It's well written, amusing, relatable (especially to that working class gallows humour) & the girls are gorgeous, but, girl next door gorgeous, as opposed to that generic US entertainment (all teeth & no knickers) pretty. I'm a fan.

Funny & sexy - what's not to like?

It's the letterkenny of Florida. Both are fantastic. It's true. Hilarious!! Sitting on my couch in pinellas county, high as the stars doesn't sway my opinion at all. Hope it keeps going so it can catch on and do a crossover with Letterkenny.

Since the only reviews here are split, I'm weighing in to side with the positive one. The show is very funny and aptly plays on Florida stereotypes to the point of absurdity. And in spite of playing on stereotypes, it avoids offense, precisely through its humor and the very skillful acting of its four female leads with solid support from other cast members.

Obnoxiously bad story and writing.

The main character's only goal in life is to get a ged, every episode is her derailed from that goal. It doesn't take much to convincing from her crew of idiots to do activities like: going to the mall, finding her step-dad, stalking her friends bf. I find myself not that interested in what the characters are doing. The story is so mundane and dare I say boring. It comes down to bad writing and bad story telling

Second problem: bad acting. Indie tv series comedic in tone generally have bad acting. Any sitcom has bad acting. But this is another level bad. Every scene they are screaming their lines at eachother. It's exhausting as a viewer to watch. And none of the cast have comedic timing.

For a comedy it's not funny For an indie it's not interesting

Lastly, there are drugs and alcohol and sexual situations in every episode. Every single one. To the point where I'm not even rooting for the characters. I want them to fail.

Ignore the bad reviews as they have probably never lived below the poverty line. This is as real as it gets! This is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a while. Seems like they are using real addicts, & real residents with real everyday poor people life choices.

I think this had an opportunity to tell a story but went over the top with added drama. Keep it real, then you may have something. Also, rated for 15+ gives young teens more suggestions on how to fail and be a mean girl with fake Id's, etc. More of a " How to screw up" guide!

Make time to watch it. It's an underrated comedy. Reminds me of Schitts Creek in how it starts a lil slow with the comedy, but then it becomes a funny addiction. Binged it in one day!

So funny! I thoroughly enjoyed the actresses in this.

Pop being the idiots they are cancelled this amazing show even after renewing for a second season. Very funny and bizzare show. Hope they sell it to other streamers.

Poorly written. They almost say something of importance about women or poverty but shy away from it in favor of crappy jokes.

Was a joy to binge watch this series, Good production, good cast, and good camera.

Over the top comedy that will make you laugh, to me it's on the same level as Trailer Park Boys, and Black Jesus.

Man I found out this show got cancel, I wish I could file a petition to get this back on. It is such a good show.

I wasn't expecting much from this , most material nowadays doesn't impress me . However, this show surprised me from the jump . I must have laughed out loud countless times, so good and so funny I've already rewatched it for a third time. This is truly how I picture a lot folks from Florida to be . And like another person said, it's refreshing to see a perspective from people who didn't have that picture perfect life- and personally can relate to this . I couldn't get enough of Shelby's unwavering optimism no matter how life and even her friends and family tried to keep her down ,from her aspirations of leaving the trailer park , love her . Jayla REALLY really made me cackle though , her little quips , her voice, her cadence , she turned out to be my favorite honestly .

"So a boot ? You're asking us if we want ONE BOOT "? I die laughing every time! I hate that this only ten episodes.

This is my new fave show, I just saw it & I've been telling everyone about it. Mf hilarious!!! Sooooo sad 2 find out it was canceled :^((((
