Somebody's daddy had some money to spend on their kids hobby.

This attempt-at-a-film was atrocious. It's not even a B-grade, but an F(fail)-grade movie. The opening scene with the little girl crying was the best part - good cinematography and camera work. Then all downhill so fast from there, I had to shut it off after 1/3rd in (20 mins), and even that's too long considering all the chances I gave this film to redeem itself.

There was barely a story here, just a mishmash of long dragged out convoluted, useless and poorly edited and executed scenes. The annoying score... wow, what were they thinking? Then there was the worst dialogue and acting I have ever seen in a film.

What was writer/director/producer Justin Price thinking? How can anyone with any film experience say "that's a wrap, looks great, let's get this out there"? He probably spent more on the fake ratings/reviews than into this production/

Films like this need a new category: SMH. This was more comedy than sci-fi as I could not stop laughing and smh.

I'm giving it a very generous 2/10 for the fairly decent cinematography and HD-SFX albeit cheesy (not for the lmao laser gun blasts), and for the effort in the costume department.

This film should be a class-study on what to NOT do when making a film.

B-movie in modern wrapping, but lacks the humour of being aware that it actually is a B-movie. Sorrowfully aims at something it doesn't reach. If you enjoy crappy sfx and totally inexplicable fight sequences with little to no need relevance for the story (which story?) here's a film you'll enjoy.

An appalling clone of Predator with effects from 50s. In year 2245 they wear motorcycle leathers for space suits. They haven't even bother to remove the markings from the suits - Dainese :) LOL Just scrolled trough the movie, it's hopeless.

It was as if a bunch of home-schooled special effects dropouts decided to make a movie but couldn't afford: actors, script writers, costumes, an editor, a director, a producer or even a decent computer - and decided to fill those roles themselves. Seriously the most enjoyable part was the credits, in which I'm shocked anyone wanted their name attributed.

With over 500 - 10 star reviews it's abundantly clear that the makers of this movie have cheated the rating process and those rating should simply be removed so other's don't ruin their evenings with this utter tripe.

The alien was a total ripoff of the alien that tried to kill Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator. Maybe the borrowed the costume.

One monster had the cheapest costume I have ever seen. It's as if it was a 5th grade class was putting on a play. I can't believe that in this day and age people STILL make movies that are this lousy. Doesn't anyone speak up and say "Hey, this is total crap, let's stop production after day 2 before we are all laughed at".

This movie is rated 1. I would never watch it again and if the great Apocalypse was going to turn this earth into The Walking Dead I would burn this movies cd just so I know that no one tortured me with it.

The acting was as if they called people on day one and shoved a script into their hands and told them to read. This entire movie was a flop.

I often wonder how a whole cast be so terrible. Ya figure at least one would be passable at least... nope. Lame dialog, nonsensical plot, silly home computer graphics... enough said. Nothing here, move on.

Apart from taking the covering yourself in Mud from Predator, I feel sorry for the person who actually financed this piece of plain, unadulterated crap. It would not even make an more ratings as a TV movie. Perhaps if there was, "Nothing Else To Watch on TV!". You would be far better watching to adverts, at least they have more entertainment. Giving a 1 Star rating, is being really generous, and Yes!, I did watch all of it from beginning to end. All in All, I should have painted a wall, and watched the paint dry. I may have had more fun.

This movie was all kinds of bad. The story, if you could call it a story, was disjointed, contrived and confusing. The acting was terrible. The visual effects, were so poorly done they looked comical. They didn't even bother taking the Dianese branding off the motorcycle jackets they were wearing. I'm sorry to say, this film has no redeeming qualities. I've seen better efforts by grade school children on YouTube.

The story is not meant for people who just want to watch a sci-fi movie, but for people who want to make jokes about aliens and robots while having cold drinks during a hot afternoon.

The level of everything in this movie is a light year below average. It has a funny story, music, customs, extremely funny acting and extra-extremely funny visuals; all in the most ridiculous way.

Have you wished before for IMDB to have a rating system below 1? I wish that now. I mean rating 1/10 for this is way too much. I hated it, and will never watch it again.

I recently lost my wife to a bitter to divorce. She took the house, the car, and all my money. The only thing she left me was the dog, who was run over by my wife's new boyfriend two days later. in hindsight, we should have taken a cab to my mother's funeral.

After I lost my job from the subsequent drinking, one of the homeless guys from my AA group recommended Dawnseeker. My hopes were high when Bath-salt Bill said, "Dawnseeker wins best picture, I bet my meth on it." It's not everyday a man with 2 fingers per hand is willing to gamble so much. So I settled in to the lawn chair in my one-room apartment and gave it a watch. It didn't take me long to realize the decision to step back over the bridge railing and walk home 2 weeks ago was a huge mistake.

As the credits rolled, I understood that the one thing I would change about my life is watching this miscarriage of a film. So I guess what what I'm saying is; if you're one bad decision away from taking the easy way out, I recommend dawnseeker.

OMG, Crap movie with worst acting and direction. Is there any option to rate Negative 10 to this junk movie?

I grew up watching shows like Star Trek and Doctor Who, so I don't care much for fancy movie magic. I must admit though, there were moments where I forgot this was a low budget movie. I'm glad they picked the lead actress. I thought she did pretty good.

My boyfriend and I are big sci-fi fans, and love watching B-movies for the laughs they usually give us. When I saw the trailer for Dawnseeker, I thought it would be a nice addition to our next movie night. The acting was kind of cheesy sometimes, but that's pretty much why we love these type of movies.

I also saw it was rated 8.2 so I got curious......well, curiousity killed the cat. Bad acting, bad effects,ah well.....there was nothing good about this movie. Wast of time.

Just when you think you have seen the worst movie ever....THIS comes along. It is by far the worst movie ever made. The acting...non-existent The script...Beyond bad The FX... Could not be worse The Continuity....What continuity??

There really should be a mental health warning with this movie.

Yes, this movie is one of the worst ever. It isn't even good enough to be better than nothing. Its failings in script, dialogue, acting, special effects, costuming, etc. are well documented. However, it is worth watching so you can truly appreciate some of the absolutely hilarious put downs of this hideous movie that have been written in these reviews.

I should've known better from how the movie started and how terrible the Choreographed fight scene was. It felt like it took forever just to have the fight start with having massive amounts of unnecessary movements that made it feel like it dragged on forever. And that's just the first 2 minutes of the damn movie. Then the guy that's behind this girl had just massive amounts of time to end it all from the get go by bashing her brains in from behind and calling it a day. But noooooooo he waits for the other nimrods to get bashed on and for her to notice him before making his move. The whole scene felt like it took forever to ramp up which it never did fully. As so many others have already stated the acting is just horrible, with zero plot, no real story line, and ample time for me to throw my television out the window and save myself the headache of it all. All I know is I want this time in my life back, I started this feeling fine only to end up with my wrists slit and a 4 hour call to the suicide hotline to talk me down from jumping off my roof into a shallow puddle. Seriously though all joking aside, whatever you do avoid this movie at all costs. You're better off watching cars on the freeway go by from an overpass. So if you do try and watch I told you you so.

This is the worst movie I have seen for some time. B grade Sci-Fi with terrible special effects and woeful direction. The special effects are that bad I suspect a 10 year old with some good software could do a better job! Do not waste your time.

Whoever edited the film didn't know what the hell he was doing jumps around too much characters that you could care less about the continuity throughout the film which totally lacking

Quite possibly the worst movie i have ever had the misfortune of watching...What i watched of it anyway. There is an obvious mistake with the rating. My rating is Zero.

Great movie! I love sci-fi movies with a good, strong, female lead. The only reason I didn't give a higher rating was because I thought some of the scenes could have been done better. Otherwise, I thought it was a fun movie to watch.

Too often, when I watch trailers for movies nowadays, I end up seeing all the best parts and am left with nothing to be surprised with once I actually watch the movie. With The Dawnseeker, that didn't happen! I like how the story slowly unveiled itself as the movie ran its' course, and with a sci-fi movie that leaves a lot of room for surprises.
