I loved this series I thought that romance, plot line, storyline, characters, characters development and acting was really good. Also the romance and romantic chemistry of the character were super well done. I liked that there were sport players in this series too. The only reason this could a 9/10 stars is becuse I wish the show was longer so we could see more of the people in this story but it was great for what we had gotten. It is a bl love story so keep that in mind. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

Crossing the line is a subtle story with good plot line, characters and acting.

The plotline could have been a bit better and the end could also have been a bit better by extending it by 1 or 2 episodes maybe but you might find the end decent enough.

The main ship and the side ships are both good, though the side ship could have gotten a better storytelling.

Not the best History series according to me but you can definitely give it a watch. Overall I'd rate it an 8/10.

P. S. If you want to watch 10/10 series, watch History 3: Trapped.

This is the first ever BL that I watched and I think this was a great series to start on. The acting is great and the character development and writing is so well done, even if the story is a little short for my taste. A special shout out to Fandy Fan for portraying the character of YuHao Xia so convincingly. The talent, romance and chemistry is so convincing that I cried, which very seldom happens.

Reason for 9/10 - I am pitting all other BL series that I watch against this series for scoring and I have only every watched 2 series that got a 10/10.

I won't say this was the best BL I've seen, cuz the storyline and character development was overly simplistic and can feel rushed at certain points. It lacked substance and felt more like yuhao suddenly liked him without realistic development or a deep plot. Overall, if u like a simple story with slight angst, this might be it for u as middle of the story there is heartbreak. However it's just not a story I'd revisit if I had a chance to. It's too overly simple, characters were not properly developed and zi xuan's final acceptance of yuhao's love also felt rushed. I feel it focused too much on volleyball rather than how they bonded over it and became interested in each other.
