Never been there so don't know. The show's pretty much the same like the uk and us, just whiter.
Prior to season 6, the series was good but not overly exciting or entertaining. They really made a lot of improvement in season 6; better casting but also tons of twists and turns in the most creative ways. Very impressed with Season 6, couldn't wait for the next episode all the way to the very end of the season. The cast was relatable with lots of villains. If I had one complaint, it would be the misogynist and hypocritical attitudes of some of the men, especially one in particular who time and time again tried his hardest to be the most morally superior one there while constantly judging the women.

This is quite simply the finest work of television since AMC's "Breaking Bad" ended. This human experiment of depravity and soulless, vapid pursuits, disguised as a group of young people seeking love and genuine lifelong connection has you howling with laughter at every turn. Not only will you smile, but you will most certainly cry as well. You might be thinking, "Stephen Paddock offered more to society than these bozos.." I challenge you to find more heartwrenching scenes of emotional transparency. Will Cassidy really split up Tayla and Grant? Does Elias even know why he's here? Will Josh ever catch a break and find that special someone? They're in there for the right reasons. Some will be rewarded with love, others with heartbreak. One thing is certain: no one knows how to pronounce the narrator's name. Game of Thrones ended in disaster. Love Island never ends at all. Stay shapey...

It's so horribly bad, that it's hard to turn off this train wreck. I just kept waiting for someone to crack and admit that the whole thing was completely fake. Fake tears, fake drama, fake boobs, fake personalities.

A bunch of plastic people trying to be normal people and find love, hahahaha, they must spend 2 hours on set and 22 hours doing there make up
Been binging this series as I do extra workouts to get in shape before summer. The narrator seriously cracks me up. Can't stand the constant stream of potty language, but the narrators comments make it worth it.
The show would be completely useless as good entertainment without the narrator. Worth it for his comments!!

Completely by accident I started with season 3. It was really nice, with very composed, nice, funny (Taku was great, but not only him) people. Kind of surreal that all of them, before or after taking a tough decision, discussed with all those involved. I am not sure this is the case in real life. They like it or not, you're by yourself, so you have to do indeed what is the best for you, but it's not fair to hurt people in the process. You have to be open, and I really liked it. Very articulate contestants in season 3. I gave a full 10. Unfortunately, after that I got to season 1. I totally understand that, at the very beginning, they didn't know what happens, so they were careless (like in real life, where you gossip about X with Y and splash dirt about him/her and the next day you do the same with Y about X). However I finished it, and also season 2, and I must confess that I liked it.
Of course it's edited, but you cannot edit emotions, and there were real emotions flying over every episode. I was just curious about Love Island UK, and I must confess that, after 3 episodes of season 1, I like the Australia one way more.

Bad is an understatement

A fan of the UK one for the English humour and personalities but the AUS one is just boring. It's a struggle to watch and after 10 eps I find it a complete waste of time.

Absolutely lazy programming from ITV to show this to fill their schedules during the post lockdown confusion/lack of available programmes.
Haven't they got a Harry Potter or Bond film to show on instead?

Ok so all look perfect and workout, but atleast in the USA show they got drunk. zyou want to explain to me all these young people not 1 smokes ....and they drank sangria but never had evening parties..... it is insane. and you can see things are fake and set up..... its all about the ratings in these shows and when the directors pick up who has troubles and conflict you can know they have meetings with the cast and pay them surely to fuel and exagerrate on those incidents of conflict. but hey..... true the commentator is the best guy, at one point he even makes a remark laughing at idiots like me watching this show.... the moon, the cat, camera man steve, bird :-) was the best. sad money wasted on such productions and sad people like me waste time watching, but hey its corona time so i have an excuse :-)

Can someone PLEASE shut this narrator up? He's not funny AT ALL. It's the worst part of the show. I might actually like this show if he didn't talk.
