Two guests would reprise their roles from Fantomatiquement vôtre, signé Scoubidou (1972), over four decades later, with the events of those episodes referenced in this new series:

• Cher was in The Secret of Shark Island (1972) and Cher, Scooby and the Sargasso Sea (2021).
• Sandy Duncan was in Sandy Duncan's Jekyll and Hyde (1972) and The Dreaded Remake of Jekyll & Hyde! (2020).

Also What a Night for a Dark Knight! (2019) features Batman, however it is a different incarnation to the one that appears in The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair (1972) and The Caped Crusader Caper (1972).

Mel Brooks and Dolly Parton were sought for guest roles. Their animated models were drawn up, but these performers were not available.
