Competently made boxing flick with heart

As someone not familiar with African cinema but a true lover of boxing films, I had no idea what to expect when I began the film. I was pleasantly surprised with what I came away with.

The film's themes are largely well-trodden. Having said this, the actors commit the emotional depth needed for the drama. The archetypal roles manage to serve as a canvas to display the culture an setting of this area of South Africa.

The production values were solid. There was nice use of color with the cinematography. It is these small touches that help elevate the movie.

If you like boxing films and want a different flavor to your story, this film should satisfy. I look forward to seeing other films out of Africa and what they bring to the table.

Fire Flame thriller

Here's what to look forward to..an action packed feature ...which a brother seeks vengeance and has his back against the ropes literally. This action thriller is suitable for family and boxing fanatics like the Rocky Balboa sequels... proudly South African flick which was shot in one of South Africa's coastal areas which is East London and is predominantly in the Xhosa Language... subtitled...also has a dynamic feel to it with highly talented cast...so this movie is rated amongst the best movies to be ever produced in South Africa and you will not regret by being glued on your television sets.

Strong and barbaric character

He is the one of the extra strong boxers in the industry and he like showing of. He like to be visible where ever he goes because he believes he is one of those never messed up characters in his own life. He understands that he can do everything and anything as long as it's suits him. His brother is also ruthless somebody that doesn't take nonsense. He is the very proud someone with the spirit of unforgiving. When it comes to fight he can do what ever it takes to be the winner besides any state of the challenge. Never scared of any challenge he may face. Extra strong behaviour with unforgiving heart.
