Daniel Farrands, writer of 1995’s Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers, continues his recent meander through American “killer” culture with Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman which, once again, tells the story of one of America’s most notorious and charismatic serial killers.
Chad Michael Murray, best known for his roles in One Tree Hill and more recently Riverdale plays the notorious serial killer alongside horror icon Lin Shaye playing Bundy’s mother; as well as Holland Roden (Teen Wolf) and Jake Hays who makes his feature length film debut.

"No man is truly innocent." Dark Star Pictures has released the official US trailer for an indie thriller titled Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman, the latest feature film made by murder-obsessed filmmaker Daniel Farrands. Why do we need more Ted Bundy movies?! We've seen enough, too many of them recently (including No Man of God as well). Chad Michael Murray stars in this as Bundy, along with Lin Shaye, Jake Hays, Marietta Melrose, and Holland Roden. The film focuses on the extensive FBI manhunt to find and apprehend "America's most infamous serial killer," around the time he was down in Florida killing more people. Scary stuff, as always. But this doesn't look it has much to offer that we haven't already seen. Official trailer (+ poster) for Daniel Farrands' Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman, from YouTube: A specter roams the highways of a gritty and decadent ...

“Orange Is the New Black” actress Taryn Manning is set to bring the “Karen” meme to life in a new suspense thriller in which she’ll play a Southern white woman who terrorizes her Black neighbors, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.
“Karen” is from writer-director Coke Daniels (“Fruits of the Heart”) and is described as a social commentary with a “powerful message.”
In the film, Manning will play Karen White, an entitled white woman from the South set on ousting her Black neighbors, who are Black Lives Matter supporters, from her neighborhood.

As the grisly, counterfactual but oddly rosy ending of “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” continues to be a point of debate among critics and audiences, along comes “The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” to remind even the most insistent detractors of Tarantino’s what-if rewrite of the Manson murders how much worse things could be. Like some unholy collaboration between the Lifetime network and the National Enquirer, Daniel Farrands’ unabashedly tacky true-crime thriller does nothing if not deliver on the bald promise of its title. A grimy portrayal of the last month of Nicole Brown Simpson’s life, gruelingly counting down the days toward her violent murder as she’s tormented by a host of bad men and bad juju, it’s a cheap, unloving death march of a movie — scarcely made more intriguing by the half-cooked theory it posits as to who (or how many) did the deed.

"It's him again, isn't it?" Quiver Distribution has revealed the official Us trailer for an indie thriller titled The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, which is indeed about the exact stated listed in the title. This is director Daniel Farrands' follow-up to his other murder films: The Amityville Murders and The Haunting of Sharon Tate. This was actually once known as The Haunting of Nicole Brown Simpson before they changed the title. Inspired by true events, the film follows O.J. Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson in the last days leading up to her tragic death on June 12th, 1994, as seen from her point of view. The film stars Mena Suvari as Nicole, with Drew Roy, Nick Stahl, Taryn Manning, & Agnes Bruckner. Maybe exploring this story is interesting to a few people, but there isn't much that I seriously care less about than this story. Official Us trailer (+ poster) for...

The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson will be released in theaters and on VOD next month, and a new trailer for the true crime movie has been released online. Starring Mena Suvari (American Pie) as Nicole Brown Simpson, the movie takes some creative liberties by suggesting everything we thought we knew about her infamous double-homicide is completely wrong. You can see what I mean by watching the official trailer below.
Though based on true events, The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson introduces the idea that real-life serial killer Glen Rogers, a.k.a. the "Casanova Killer," may be the real murderer behind the heinous crime that took the lives of Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. Co-starring with Suvari in the movie are Nick Stahl as Glen Rogers, Drew Roy as Ronald Goldman, and Gene Freeman as O. J. Simpson. Also starring as other real-life personalities who knew Brown...

The trailer for The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, starring Mena Suvari, has dropped and it features a shocking twist — O.J. Simpson is not believed to be the alleged killer.
Suvari, 40, plays Nicole Brown Simpson in the film and it is told from her perspective after she grows suspicious of a man she becomes intimate with after hiring him to do housework.
The man, played by Nick Stahl, is later revealed to be serial killer Glen Rogers. The movie suggests he to make him Nicole’s murderer.

First thoughts after watching this trailer: "This ain't it." Mena Suvari is taking on the role of the late Nicole Brown Simpson for the new fictional film The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and if the trailer is any indication then the entire movie is going to be one wild ride. For starters, it seems like O.J. Simpson is not portrayed as her alleged killer. Instead it seems the writers are placing the blame on Glen Rogers, a prolific serial killer who claimed to have killed Nicole and Ron. The movie gets even more interesting when you consider the cast for the film. Mena Suvari is playing the lead, while Taryn Manning is portraying Faye Resnick, who the writers...

Late last year, the first teaser for The Haunting of Sharon Tate arrived, and it showed scenes from the new thriller, coming across as midnight schlock of the lowest kind. Now, we have the official trailer, which has cleaned itself up nicely, presenting the movie as a true horror tale that's worthy of cinema screens. It's more finished up and polished, and it downplays one of the more controversial aspects of the film itself.
Hilary Duff stars as Sharon Tate in what is described as a twisted retelling of facts. It's not supposed to be a true crime drama. This is a supernatural thriller that reimagines terrifying real-life events. Some are not happy about that, especially Sharon Tate's sister, who has railed against the movie and how it subverts facts and presents falsities. The official synopsis has arrived with the latest look at footage.
