Apharan season 1 is super entertainer and gripping. And so I watched season 2 expecting to be as entertaining as season 1, but season 2 is kinda let down. Stupid plot and screenplay of season 2. Arunoday Singh is surely brilliant in both seasons. Though I have given 8 stars for season 1, I would give 5 star rating for season 2.

This One Is Just Brilliant..!!🔥🔥🔥 I Was Not Expecting Much But After Seeing This.. I Was Just Are Kya Series Hai Yaar..!! 🔥🔥
Not your hi-fi over the top larger than life series like sacred games and Mirzapur. But far better. It's very grounded, with an amazing rich storyline, full of twists and turns. Rarely wastes time, and keeps entertained throughout. Definitely Bingeworthy!

The entire series is good but that thing is tough to digest that why people of HARIDWAR AND RISHIKESH are speaking bhojpuri, as I an resident of Haridwar and this thing ain't digests and it spoils the entire storyline, if they wanted to show bhojpuri accents in dialogues they should have taken storyline from PURVANCHAL,
They have blended PURVANCHAL language in Haridwar region that's AWKWWRD
Alt Balaji, congratulations for creating a peerless web series like Apharan. The team brought something unique in the market of web series, and it landed with a bang! I came across many people who appreciated and liked the show at many levels. I would like to appreciate the work of the cast, producers, directors and the ones who made it possible. Thank you!

Apharan S1 succeeded because of three reasons - 1. The interesting exciting premise with twists and turns 2. The desi setup with retro bollywood songs as BGM 3. The terrific yet hilarious dialogues and narrative.
Now coming to S2, Apharan shifts to international level and the day I saw its trailer I knew it would misfire and it did!
That feel that you are watching Apharan is completely gone. Just using retro bollywood BGM in international location doesn't suit the series at all! I was missing the rusty lanes of Haridwar a lot. The impact went down due to this.
Another reason why S2 goes down further is the overuse of that "Koi gaali dera hai" lady (forgot her name so I had to mention her dialogue lol). Hrr "koi gaali dera h" dialogue is overused to the point that her character becomes really irritating this season. In S1, she had a smaller role and just enough to make her look hilarious but now she becomes too irritating with that "gaali dera hai" BGM further irritating you .
Similarly , Dubey's character becomes irritating too they are just unnecessary additions to the story.
The direction too is not upto the mark. Often you feel things are moving in fast forward manner not allowing any scene to breathe. Needed Siddharth Sengupta himself to direct it.
However, thankfully Siddharth Sengupta manages to rescue this season with his story and screenplay . It's an interesting exciting story yet again with exciting twists and turns . It is enough to hold on to your attention till the end despite so many raging flaws that at one point I even started to ignore them. Performance by Arunoday is once again top class with his narrative that can excite only the young generation not really your parents.
Overall, this season would have been another gem had it been set in India , had they not overused some cringy irritating dialogues and had they kept Siddharth as the director as he was in S1.

The story cannot be said free from loopholes, but the p[ace is good enough to keep one hooked. The best parts of the series are (i) its cinematography and (ii) tribute to 70s bollywood. Worth a watch. Definitely
Firstly stop those fake reviews... just sort by review date & filter by rating you will get a series of fake reviews with username ending with "toz". Now coming to the review part... 2 stars for Arunoday Singh atleast he tried something but weak script and worst dialogues with irrelevant romance scenes made the series horrible. Season 1 was OK atleast there was some thriller & suspense. Season 2 every dialogue ends with either mc bc or bsdk arre yaar without gaali & sex Ekta Kapoor cant make a webseries? And who told Uttarakhand ppl will speak bhojpuri? Add some gaali+sex and make a crap story and sell it in the name of webseries thats the trend followed by Ekta.

Ist season was amazing, but 2nd season is ok ok.
First 5 episodes was amazing & then the 2nd half was boring & predictable.
Double role was ok ok.
Some over acting.

Amazing acting. Good storyline. Good supporting cast. And most amazing part Nidhi singh. What acting, mind-blowing.
Siddharth sengupta should have directed this season too. He can handle this pulp fiction genre very well. Season 1 was better. Though season 2 is not absolutely bad. The action sequences are top notch including that one take shot. The dialogues are humorous but cusses have been overused. It seemed forced after a point of time.

The 2nd season is just pure, unadulterated garbage. Such low mental level and trash, that I couldn't bear it post 2nd episode. Garbage. Dont waste any time on this. Life is short.
