This movie was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where it eventually won the Best Director Award, marking the first time the award was officially shared by a directing duo winning for a single film (although Joel Coen has won the award three times for movies he co-directed with his brother Ethan Coen where Ethan had to go uncredited per DGA rules).

Much ado about nothing.

It's bizarre to me that the producers of this 'movie', thought that they could hide their agenda behind some wannabe artistic hogwash. This is not even worthy to be "criticized" from a cinematic point of view, because it's really nothing but thinly veiled propaganda. One must truly wonder if any neutral rational human being could fail to see this excuse for a movie for what it is. I doubt it.
