Gone are the days when masses would enjoy hero fighting 10-15 villains. I strongly feel the movies should not have too ideal scenes for instance actress extremely good looking. Colleges like Oxford University. Girl falling for the guy in just seconds. Student's wearing western dresses. All these feel more like a fantasy. More natural scenes is what the current generation loves is what I feel.

Except a few scenes, fleet like most of the narration is copied from past movies of Mahesh . Music is another headache

First half was a one man show the friend ship bond between Mahesh and naresh is like magic. Naresh have a very major key role and the second half started a bit slow but worth the time The fight was too op just wow that intensity involving the fight gives you goosebumps last 45min was excellent this social message sending journey have excellent dialogues in last 45min padara padara and ide kadha songs are visually very appealing where action speaks with songs lyrics while characters in the movie stay calm don't miss watching this one

Story is just above average. You can guess what will happen next. But the treatment of the story might interest you. Mahesh Babu should look for better story.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is rocking with maharishi... After Bharat Ane nenu... another blockbuster on the way

I think this movie is some what close to Mahesh Babu's previous movie Srimanthudu. But this is Much Better. But The same Telugu style Still goes on. The Film Makers can change a little bit nah! But however I am Not a telugu guy. So may be you people like it even more.

Seriously, I don't think this movie got anything new worth watching from mahesh babu as we are seeing him since Srimanthudu, it was like just one character in different movies(like Sherlock solving different cases). As An actor mahesh did justice to the character but you cannot expect anything new from him in this movie but I felt mahesh babu was more into the character that at times somescenes done by him in this movie felt a bit dramatic and artificial. I was wondered by the reception and the promotions being done to this movie claiming blockbuster and trendsetting movie.I personally felt that our directors were not able to bring the best of this versatile actor... finally not a great movie not even a good movie. Watched it in BIGPIX which itself was a fabulous experience for me. The movie portrayed the Mahesh Babu, the lead actor as a genius perfectly, nearly, with nicely packed drama(sentiments, emotions), actions and commercial-ness with usual flaws like Telugu movies, but it was watchable to a certain extent and definitely a treat for Mahesh Babu's fans. The major drawbacks were its music, songs especially and its length of 3hours, which feels horrendous to watch nowadays.

This movie was really a waste of my time...songs were bad, screenplay was bad, and the story is simply a hybrid of stories we've seen 10000 times before. The film really insults the audiences intelligence...

I always considered movie as a powerful tool for spreading awareness, this movie has used this fact to the fullest. Apart from being a feast to the fans, this movie has managed to address a rising problem along with solutions. I love the fact that the actor has chosen role which address social issues. The direction and screenplay was outstanding. The direction was simply perfect. he has managed to capture every detail needed to deliver the right emotions to the audience. The cast is perfect. Each role was done greatly. The story is somewhat fresh when you take out the social issues from the movie. Overall a good movie

The movie starts off in a quick pace introducing us to 'Rishi' (Mahesh Babu), the CEO of an international software company pursuing his materialistic success ( Money and Fame ), the story then reverts back to Rishi's Past and his quest for success through his college life. The college episodes are spectacular, the friendship, comedy, action, romance, everything is depicted quite well. The college episodes are finished with an emotional note. The Pre-Interval episodes are filled with emotions, you would actually feel what 'Rishi' is going through. This preps you up for the second half which is quite an emotional rollercoaster. The introduction of 'Vivek Mittal's (Jagapathi babu ) character moves the story forward to the actual plot which revolves around Rishi, Ravi (Allari Naresh), Vivek Mittal, Farmers of the country who are suffering due to the negligence of the general public.

The movie ends with 'Rishi' pursuing real success.

The last 45 mins are the Highlight of the Total Film.

Get ready to be amazed by every actors performances, they've all given their best to this film.

Though Other Reviews and Ratings might mislead you, the film is actually great, you should watch it atleast once.

DSP's Background Music is engaging. K U Mohanan's Cinematography is excellent.

Pros: 1. The development of the main characters was pretty good starting them as something radically different from what they end up. 2. Subtle use of character artists and their influence on the development of main characters without largely diverting from the main story. 3. Great work with cinematography, editing and direction. 5. acting of Naresh and Mahesh Babu are good. 4. Creation of story aligned situations to portray true nature of characters.

Cons: 1. the love segment of story carries no meaning and has no relation with the development of any character. It is written only to get a few songs and to extend the length of the movie. 2. The Pooja Hegde character holds no significance in the plot. There would be no change in the movie even when her character is killed completely. At least adding her to help Naresh during the strike would have carried some weight. 3. The acting of Pooja Hegde is sub par and continuously reminded of her previous roles and the same is holdsfor Mahesh Babu's character.

***Nerd Fact! : The software that Rishi builds in the movie has no relation operating systems and may be something aligned with machine learning concepts would be Correct conceptually. ***

Excellent to watch Mahesh.. Awesome comeback to naresh..

The movie is a combination of the previous movies there is not amusing about this fact as mahesh is utterly as person who has got no proper facial expression and dance performance so it's quite common to find all his movies alike.

Maharshi is an complete super Movie, with all emotions. Mahesh acting super. First half college scenes, Mahesh & Naresh friendship bond super. And second half is too good with emotional scenes. Finally the story line & direction is super.

Mahesh is good as usual...good to see Allari Naresh in this type of role,hoping for his continuation in choosing these type of important roles in future... Vamshi did his job well but used some commercial aspects unnecessarily which made some scenes to look artificial... Dsp managed with his bgm work... Farmers episode will haunt you

Mahesh is such a talented actor and he has to choose a script which can bring out a new version of him like pokiri and athadu. This movie was so boring to watch near the middle to end the movie became like a documentary of farming which made me almost fall asleep. Vamsi crunched in a mix of movies like srimanthudu and Bharat Ane nenu and made Maharshi.

Narration was too good, the looks and acting of the superstar was just Amazing. A must watch movie!!

This movie looks like inspired by google CEO sundar pichai and more, and mixed with agriculture flavor. story is normal and regular movie, average movie.
