Standard Neeson.

**Absolution** with Liam Neeson? Oh, where do I start? Imagine Neeson, his usual steely gaze now laser-focused on a plot more convoluted than your average Rubik's cube. It's like someone took every Liam Neeson action flick, threw them in a blender, and hit puree. The film tries to be Taken, but ends up more like Taken for Granted. Neeson's character has the emotional depth of a teaspoon, but let's be honest, we're here for the action, not the nuanced performance. The action sequences? They're like a fine wine - if that wine was occasionally spilled on the carpet from being too shaken, not stirred. The plot? Predictable, but Neeson manages to make it watchable with sheer force of will. If you like Neeson and can forgive the script for having fewer surprises than a weather forecast, it's a solid Thursday night watch.
