Great piece of art. K k Menon's acting is of top notch.Overall other actors acting is also good. K k Menon portrayed emotions very well, how a big brother struggles to save his brothers dream. K k Menon also portrayed emotions of armyman very well. Overall awesome cinematography

Kay Kay Menon was just phenomenal in this webseries...charming,witty,quirky...OMG...Infact every actor did exceptionally well..unfortunately it wasn't Barun Sobti's finest performance. I am huge admirer of Barun's work so I would commend him for always choosing just ingenious projects. From direction to screenplay to script....every aspect was executed with so much finesse. But I do want to add that the person in charge of background score "DESTROYED" the whole experience. I still can't believe this is an Ekta Kapoor product...Yes offense.

Loved it! it has all the elements for an entertaining web serie, totally intriguing and secretive family.

The dull almost mute background score ruined the experience of watching this series please never cast that sound direction team again btw the new apaharan series is awesome ....

I was looking for something to watch last night and came across The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family on JioCinema. With a name like that, I expected a comedy of sorts. It isn't.

TGIDF quite boldly (for India) takes on relevant issues that could occur in any family, okay Dysfunctional Family, but as one of the characters rightly observes, every family is dysfunctional once they're in the privacy of their own homes. To whatever extent.

We have a young teenage girl discovering that she is not 'straight', the consequences on her best friend's marriage plans, her family's shock and awe reaction and eventual acceptance. While this may not happen in every family, it certainly does in many and a big credit to the film makers for exploring this issue in more than just a half decent manner.

Everyone in the D Family has skeletons in their respective closets and this series maturely explores the various issues that are really nowhere near as uncommon as one might want to believe. Indeed truth is mostly stranger than fiction. This series does indeed touch upon a lot of ugly truths that prevail in yes even our so called normal Indian families.

Dont wish to add spoilers for those who havent yet watched, so let me sign off saying that TGIDF is certainly worth watching, holds the interest throughout. The only reason I rate it 7 rather than 8 or 9 is because of the excessive and fast forwardable Recaps at the beginning of each episode and the soap operatic melodramatic background music far too often. Kay Kay Menon is expectedly superb as the 'Khadoos' elder brother. He looks quite a bit like a handsome central Minister of State in the FinMin who also had a good innings at the BCCI no prizes for guessing who :-)))

This is an intense series with lot of twists. Awesome cast and brilliant direction. A must watch from Ekta. Waiting for a lot more from AltBalaji.

You definitely need to give this series a try, you will find something different in the show. It is an unexplored genre to much extent. This is not a perfect family, you will find flawed characters & that is the beauty of the show. Barun Sobti & kay kay menon's scenes are too good

I loved that show! Watched all 10 episodes without stopping almost until the morning! Very strong cast and a lot of secrets that are regrettable.

I would also like to add the selection of scripts is very good. He is a family oriented who understands the value of family n only he can do such movie with great finness.

10 on 10 only for Barun. Barun's stunning performance made that cheap move look forgivable.... marvellous job done.
