What a shame

This could have been an amazing story but was destroyed by horrendous direction. The flashback / forward was amazingly disjointed. The first half hour was almost impossible to figure out who was who and what was going on. Imagine the first three seasons of the TV show "this is us" being crammed into a two-hour movie and you'll get an idea of what this film turned out to be. The acting is very good, especially the teacher and the teenage Cody. I was blessed with an amazing son who grew up to be a very successful engineer so it's impossible for me to imagine how horrible a situation like this would be. If the film had been directed in a more linear fashion this could have been an excellent movie. So disappointing!

beyond description

No, not the above average heartfelt tale.

Never would have believed the best performance seen in 2021 comes from a child actor, but Lincoln Lambert as Dana is it. Be as skeptical as i was and take a chance.

Avoid If your parents or LOs Have Dementia

Like watching my Dad. Heartbreaking. Can't feed himself, needs to be cajoled to do anything, hallucinates, yells, screams, and occasionally smiles. No different than a few of these characters. I need 150 characters to post this...but what more can I say?
