An Enjoyable, Fun & Entertaining Romantic Drama Comedy

To my personal opinion, this movie was wonderful in terms of combining the elements of drama and humor. I quite enjoyed the banter between the supporting characters (who were mostly comedians) and the chemistry between Milly and Mamet's characters which were performed very nicely by the two lead cast. And this time around, I think the drama and humor part were quite balanced, although I did feel the conclusion was a tinsy bit oversimplified, but overall it was indeed a fun & entertaining romantic drama comedy. Another great job by Ernest Prakasa!

A Sweet Portrait of Life After Love in Milly & Mamet

Milly & Mamet is a smart and heartfelt spin-off from the Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? Universe that beautifully explores what happens after a love story ends. Focusing on Milly and Mamet, now a married couple, the film captures the ups and downs of married life, the clash between responsibilities and dreams, and the subtle humor found in daily domestic struggles.

I give this film a 9 out of 10 because of its well-balanced blend of drama and comedy. Director Ernest Prakasa does an excellent job of delivering clever humor while also grounding the story in meaningful life lessons. Sissy Priscillia as Milly is incredibly charming and natural, portraying a relatable modern woman juggling motherhood and identity. Dennis Adhiswara brings depth to Mamet, playing a hardworking husband trying to support his family while chasing his passion.

The cinematography is clean and vibrant, paired with a light-hearted and emotional score that enhances the film's mood. The dialogues are witty, honest, and feel very real-like conversations we hear or have in everyday life. Supporting characters like Rika and James add comic relief and texture to the story without stealing the spotlight.

Overall, Milly & Mamet is more than just a nostalgic trip for fans of the original film series. It stands strong on its own as a modern rom-com with heart, charm, and relevance. It's a warm reminder that real love begins after the wedding, and that life's true adventure starts when dreams and reality meet.

Mediocre

Story is suffered from too much product placement and out of place humour. Useless character is present for the sake of humour relief and alot of is not fungtional to the story. Mediocre story at best.
