Cinematographer Nick Matthews praises director Kevin Greutert for his meticulous editing process and extensive knowledge of the Saw franchise. Matthews and Greutert aimed to return to the gritty and dirty aesthetic of the original Saw movie, finding a balance between the first and second films while giving Saw X its own visual identity. The duo reintroduced techniques like circular dolly track and stutter frames to heighten intensity and create a visually kinetic experience.
Cinematographer Nick Matthews talked about his friendship with director Kevin Greutert and how staying true to the original Saw film helped his creative process when crafting Saw X. The tenth Saw outing is the latest iteration in the franchise and surrounds a group of con artists in Mexico who are trapped and tortured by a man who seeks revenge. The film stars Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Steven Brand, Synnøve Macody Lund, Renata Vaca, and Michael Beach.

Writer/director Rob Lambert has long been fascinated by stories that delve deep into the human condition and for his feature film debut Cuck, he's not straying far from his previous work.
Cuck stars Zachary Ray Sherman as Ronnie, a lonely young man struggling to find his place in the world. He finds some solace and a sense of community as an Alt-Right vlogger but even that has its problems and soon, he moves from just talking about hate to acting on that hate - or so it appears.
The themes explored by Lambert and co-writer Joe Varkle are timely and important and Cuck certainly looks promising as a serious drama that tackles some big issues. The question that remains to be seen is whether the movie manages to avoid being melodramatic or too obvious with its me...

The term "cuck" (while also a sexual kink term) in this case means a man who is desperate for acceptance, approval, and affection from women. Zachary Ray Sherman stars, with a cast including Sally Kirkland, Timothy V. Murphy, Monique Parent, and David Diaan. It's obvious that this is trying to comment on this online echo chamber / self-righteous rage culture, but seems to be trying a bit too hard to make a point. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Rob Lambert's Cuck, direct from the film's YouTube: When a frustrated loner named Ronnie (Zachary...
