Perdants Nés (2013)

Trivia

Perdants Nés

Edit
Chris Jiménez made the film with an entire non-professional cast. Many of them were friends or high school classmates, between 20 and 18 years old.
The sequence where Marco Antonio Sarango and Pedro Antonio Pérez are arguing and joking was shot during a break between the filming, and the director used finally to justify the brothers-relationship of the two characters.
The film that Daniel is watching in the television before talking with Juan is "Survival Zone", directed by Percival Rubens in 1.983.
It parodies famous films such as "Jackie Brown", "Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels", "Natural Born Killers", "Pulp Fiction", "Goodfellas", "Crime Spree", "The Usual Suspects", "Snatch", "Knockaround Guys", "Trainspotting", "Requiem for a Dream" or "True Romance", with dialogues and sequences of many of them borrowed for the film, also taken by "2.001: A Space Odissey".
The first film directed by Chris Jiménez after some little short films, where appeared many actors who were cast in the movie.
