Gi-Hun's Fate In The Squid Game Season 3 Finale Explained (Does He Die?)
Image
This article contains spoilers for "Squid Game" season 3, episode 6, "Humans Are..."

"Squid Game" has ended with season 3, but the franchise will keep on keeping on for the foreseeable future. Series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has ideas for a spin-off while David Fincher is already working on a new "Squid Game" show, so there are plenty more pastel-colored deaths and unnerving playground games on the horizon. Before we get to that, though, there's one important matter to settle.

The show has always revolved around two things: the game itself and Seong Gi-hun's (Lee Jun-jae) attempts to survive and potentially overthrow it. Variations of the game are obviously destined to endure as long as it makes Netflix a profit, but how does Gi-hun fare in his task? Does he manage to survive the series finale to continue raging against the machine in the future?

Unfortunately, no, Gi-hun does not survive. Though the one-time...

Unfortunately, the BBC spoiled the ending of its show via a news article, which led to complaints from the public. Now, the BBC has responded to how it approached reporting on the finale's events.

The BBC's official response was posted on its complaints tab on the official website, where it addressed the reaction from the public following an article with the headline "Ncuti Gatwa regenerates into Billie Piper as he leaves Doctor Who." In response, the BBC notes that people were already aware of Ncuti Gatwa's departure, as it had been "widely speculated by fans." Additionally, it stated that it initially...

Sirens (TV Mini Series 2025) ‘Netflix’ Recap & Ending Explained: Why Did Simone Betray Michaela?
Image
Created by Molly Smith Metzler, Netflix’s Sirens (TV Mini Series 2025) is a electrifying dark comedy that persists in its ability to surprise you throughout its five episodes. Especially when you think that you have figured the characters out. The series’ heart is the trifecta of its leading ladies. Just like Moore’s Michaela, there is an inexplicable allure of the show that, despite all the tonal shifts, just works.

The Pitt: Dr. Santos' Fascinating Backstory Explained By Isa Briones
Image
The hit Max medical drama "The Pitt" is an intense ride that follows one day in a fictional hospital's emergency room in pretty close to real time, with each episode comprising a consecutive hour. Season 1 takes place on the first day for new interns and student doctors, but it is incredibly chaotic, so there isn't really time for extended introductions or big monologues to give us character backstory. And aside from Dr. Robby's (Noah Wyle) Ptsd flashbacks, the show doesn't use flashbacks to show us the past and fill in the gaps, either, so we have to learn about the characters in little bits. Dr. Trinity Santos (Isa Briones), the intensely competitive fourth year intern who butts heads with some of her superiors, seems like she has a lot more going on than we get to see. She's not just incredibly capable, she's also pretty fierce and has some surprises...

Those who've been watching "The Last of Us" on HBO now know what fans of the original video games have known for years -- that Joel (Pedro Pascal) doesn't exactly get a happy ending. The Last Of Us Season 2 Episode 2 Ending Explained: Joel’s Brutal Death Leaves Ellie Shattered!
Image
Joel’s Final Moments In Episode 2(Photo Credit –Facebook)

The Last of Us season 2, episode 2 doesn’t just tiptoe into chaos, it cannonballs straight into heartbreak and horror. Titled “Through the Valley,” this gut-punch of an episode pulls zero punches, giving fans what they feared (but knew was coming): the brutal demise of Joel. HBO didn’t just adapt the game’s most controversial moment, they nailed it to the wall with emotional shrapnel and a full-on infected war zone.

While the Jackson community was still gossiping about Ellie and Dina’s kiss, fate had much bigger plans, namely, a horde of infected, Abby with a vendetta, and a farewell to the man who carried season 1 on his back. By the time the credits roll, Joel’s gone, Jackson’s scorched, and Ellie’s officially the main character of a much darker, grittier tale. It’s the end of...

Everything we need to know about Daredevil: Born Again Episode 8(Photo Credit –Facebook)

Episode 8 isn’t just another gritty hallway fight or legal drama twist, it’s the moment the whole season basically yells, “Hold my billy club.” With just one episode left before the season 1 finale, the show goes full throttle, bringing back Wilson Bethel as Bullseye like he never left. Invincible: Atom Eve's Powers, Explained
Image
Spoilers for "Invincible" (both the TV show and the comics) to follow.

The whole premise of "Invincible" is a kid trying to live up to his dad — only his dad is the world's greatest superhero. The story soon reveals Nolan Grayson aka Omni-Man (J.K Simmons) isn't all he appears to be, but from the start Mark Grayson aka Invincible (Steven Yeun) has been from a family of heroes. Over the series, that family grows. As of season 3, Mark's kid half-brother Oliver (Christian Convery) is Kid Omni-Man, and Invincible is dating the matter-rearranging superheroine Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs).

There's a lot of Spider-Man in "Invincible" — Eve is Mark's Mary Jane, red hair and all, only she has powers like her boyfriend does too. Mark's first girlfriend, Amber (Zazie Beetz), shows why a superhero trying to date a normal person wouldn't work. Eve is nowhere near as physically strong as a Viltrumite,...

Denzel Washington's Suits LA Episode 2 Cameo Explained
Image
This article contains spoilers for "Suits LA" Season 1, Episode 2, "Old Man Hanrahan."

Denzel Washington was a talking point in regard to "Suits LA" before it even hit the airwaves, despite him not even starring in the series. The early promotional materials revealed that he's a client of the law firm run by Ted Black (Stephen Amell), which is further established in Season 1's first two episodes. That said, "Suits LA" really wants viewers to know that the scene-stealing "Gladiator II" star exists in this universe, as evidenced by one key scene in Episode 2, "Old Man Hanrahan."

The "Suits LA" season premiere contains a blink-and-you-will-miss-it moment showing Denzel posing alongside Ted in a photo Amell's character keeps on his desk. Meanwhile, another scene depicts a poster for "American Gangster," the underappreciated Ridley Scott crime opus that gained a new lease of life on Netflix in 2024, reaffirming that Ted's firm reps our...

Netflix has a new documentary that should and will be on the radars of treasure hunters the world over seeking to retell the incredible story of an eccentric man called Forrest Fenn, who triggered a real-life treasure hunt when he hid a chest of gold in the Rockies — and hides clues in a cryptic poem.

The story begins when Forrest Fenn published a memoir, The Thrill of the Chase, which contained a cryptic poem that he claimed led to a hidden treasure chest worth millions. Fenn later said the goal was to get people out into the wilderness. This sparked a decade-long obsession, with thousands of treasure hunters trying to decipher the clues and find the gold. The treasure hunt wasn’t without controversy, though, as we suspect the new documentary will cover the numerous lawsuits that were lodged against Mr.

Let’s get into the scene that opens the movie, complete with commentary from Perkins. Spoilers beware, of course, especially if you fear that reading about a movie before you’ve seen it will result in a hilariously unexpected death.

Who Is Muse? Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again Villain, Explained
Image
After months of fans impatiently awaiting, and several pretty serious production delays, "Daredevil: Born Again" is nearly upon us. Announced nearly three years ago during San Diego Comic-Con, the series will finally reunite Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock with Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk in Hell's Kitchen. However, Kingpin won't be the only villain along for the ride this time around. Not by a long shot.

As the footage from the newly-released "Daredevil: Born Again" trailer reveals, Matt Murdock is mixing it up with several masked baddies. One of which is doing graffiti and has a pale white mask with blood on it. This is none other than Muse, a villain who is a somewhat recent addition to the Marvel Comics canon, having first appeared in "Daredevil" #11 in 2016. The character was created by writer Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney. Put simply, Muse is a serial killer who turns his victims into works of art.

Who Is Marvel's White Tiger? The Daredevil: Born Again Character, Explained
Image
The first trailer for "Daredevil: Born Again" brings Matt "Daredevil" Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) front and center in the Marvel Cinematic Universe mix after their stints as supporting characters in various Disney+ MCU shows. While the pair is seen having a surprisingly amicable diner conversation about the former's retirement as a vigilante and the latter's political ambitions, the trailer makes no attempt of hiding their eventual returns to their classic superhero and villain roles. Further enhancing this effect are the brief teases of other costumed characters, including a particularly classic Marvel figure who's yet to make an appearance in the MCU.

At 1:35 in the trailer, we see a man in a white costume and a full face mask, clearly preparing for a hard day of street-level vigilante action. His ornamental tiger pendant reveals that we're looking at none other than the White Tiger (Kamar de los Reyes).

After all, Den of Thieves is most compelling when it parallels the criminal Outlaws, a gang of bank robbers, with the LAPD Regulators tasked with catching them, crystallizing the thin line between the heroes and villains. While it always seemed Nick was one step away from crossing the line, Butler has explained why the morally vexed detective lost his way and felt compelled to abandon the Regulators and join the Outlaws for a risky European diamond heist.

And in What If...? season 3, the show debuted one of the villains who is set to join the MCU in 2025, but the character was very different to what is currently being set up in the MCU.

Image
Moana 2 has already been incredibly successful at the box office so far, and its momentum doesn't seem like it will run out anytime soon. The story of Moana 2 is set three years after the first film, which was released in 2016, and follows Moana as she once again teams up with the demigod Maui and assembles a crew to find the lost island of Motufetu and break its curse. The cast of Moana 2 includes Auli'i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Temuera Morrison, Nicole Scherzinger, and Alan Tudyk.

Moana 2 was actually originally planned to be a Disney+ series, but it was ultimately decided that it should be a theatrical release. All 6 Corleone Family Dons In The Godfather Explained
Image
The Godfather movies center on the formidable Corleone family, many of whom become mafia Dons, with varying levels of success. The Corleone family has 22 members, headed by the patriarch, Vito Corleone, who is often called "The Don," meaning "the boss." Vito is a powerful member of the mafia, and while some of his family want to be involved in the business, others do not. The Godfather is one of the greatest movies of all time, and this is partly due to the standout performances of its actors.

The Godfather movies starred Marlon Brando and Robert Duvall, as well as many unknown actors who later achieved massive success. This includes Al Pacino, who played the initially moralistic Michael Corleone. The Godfather is one of the movies that defined Al Pacino's career, and Pacino was nominated twice for an Academy Award. While Pacino didn't win, the Godfather trilogy would win nine Academy Awards,...

"It makes sense people would be mad": Uzumaki Executive Producer Breaks Silence On Big Episode 2 Controversy
Image
Uzumaki was one of the most hotly-anticipated anime adaptations in years, hyped as one of the most faithful adaptations of Junji Ito's most famous manga. Still, episode #2's release quickly hurt fan perception of the anime. The show's noticeable drop in animation quality was remarked upon by several now-deleted posts by Jason DeMarco, co-founder of Toonami from his Bluesky account. While it hardly offers a concrete explanation, the stiff animation and furious fan reaction over Uzumaki episode #2 and the rest of its run is evident in the community.

Junji Ito's original 1998 manga for Uzumaki is a three-volume series that has attained critical acclaim for its haunting imagery and eldritch worldbuilding with Kurouzu-cho's spiral curse. The series is easily the most talked-about creation from the manga horror master, so the expectation from viewers, and in all likelihood, the animators, was that the show could be handled with care. However, given...

Image
There is a whole lot going on in Francis Ford Coppola’s latest film “Megalopolis,” from controlling time to drug-induced hallucinations to political schemes. No one could fault you if you got a little lost, and we’re here to help straighten it out.

Now in theaters, the fable is a modern-day Roman epic, literally bringing stories of the Roman empire to New York. Throughout the film, we follow Cesar Catilina’s (Adam Driver) endeavors as he tries to turn The City of New Rome into a utopian megalopolis for its residents.

He plans to do so using Megalon, a new element he discovered — which allows him to also start and stop time — and won a Nobel Prize for. He believes in radical change and improvement. But Mayor Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito) doesn’t share that love of change; he sticks to tradition and status quo, and definitely class systems.

The Jetty Ending Explained: What Happened on the Night Amy Disappeared
Image
Warning: contains The Jetty finale spoilers.

Midway through The Jetty’s final episode, there are multiple potential suspects in the Amy Knightly case. Chief of all is DC Ember Manning’s dead husband Malachy ‘Mack’ Granger, the man who was secretly having a sexual relationship with underage Amy at the time she disappeared. There’s also Mack’s recently revealed half-brother Joe – now a convict with a violent past – who had threatened Amy and blackmailed Mack about his statutory rape of her.

You might also suspect Amy’s lesbian schoolfriend Caitlin, whom Amy manipulated and betrayed, and who left town years ago. And for that matter, there are also Caitlin’s homophobic parents, who hated their daughter’s new friend and denied Caitlin’s true identity. So many possibilities.

One suspect on nobody’s radar though, was DC Manning herself. And that’s who turned out to have been Amy’s inadvertent killer.
