AMAZING LOCAL COLOR--AND A CUTE DOG

So nice to see a film in which Mexico and Japan are depicted realistically. No ignorant, barefoot peasants or sinister guys in suits. All this and an adorable Chihuahua named Luna.

It doesn't get much worse than this

Wow. I think this film set the record for the shortest time it took for me to call "UNCLE" and give up on it. I probably watched it for less than two minutes and I could tell just how bad it was going to be. In the couple minutes I watched there wasn't a single thing good about it. The soundtrack was generic, suspenseful canned music. The sound quality was horrible, it was super echoey and sounded like it was recorded on a cheap cassette recorder. The acting was deplorable. And the editing was just plain goofy. Quick cuts of stock footage and stock photography to tell the viewer where it ws taking place. And the second the actors opened up their mouths, I just had to stop the movie and move on to something else. What did I end up watching? It didn't matter because anything was going to be better than this one.

Sorry folks. Better luck next time!
