Gaspard Ulliel and Freya Mavor in Il était une seconde fois (2019)

Trivia

Il était une seconde fois

Edit
Each of the four episodes is titled after a popular love song. "Ne me quitte pas" by Jacques Brel, "Reviens" by Hervé Vilard, "Ti Amo" by Umberto Tozzi, and "Hymne à l'amour" by Édith Piaf.
Was filmed in Bordeaux, Paris, London and Iceland. Filming took place between January 29 and April 6, 2018.
At around the '0:35 mark of episode four, there's a quick scene of a wet and fully bearded Gaspard Ulliel staring at the camera while he's in a river. That same scene was used a year before in the film Les confins du monde (2018), also directed by Guillaume Nicloux.
This miniseries marked the first time that Gaspard Ulliel was offered the role of a father. In real life, Ulliel was the father of a 2-year-old boy when this miniseries was filmed.
Stacy Martin was the original choice for the role of Louise. Her name was listed in casting calls for the series between December 2017 and January 5, 2018. Freya Mavor was a last minute replacement and was announced on January 18, 2018, only 11 days before filming started.
