The actor, who rose to fame the soap opera Hollyoaks, passed away at the age of 46 in January.

The cause of death, per the BBC, is from a “combined toxicity of heroin, methadone, coedine, pregabalin, cocaine, zopiclone, contributed to by benzodiazepine use.”

Paul began acting as a child on shows like Eastenders, but it was his role as Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks at age 19 that secured his star status.

He would also appear on The Queen’s Nose, The Basil Brush Show and Casualty before pivoting into reality TV.

He starred on Come Dine With Me, Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother, and had a podcast called The Morning After With Paul Danan from 2019 to 2023.

Our thoughts are with Paul‘s friends, family, and loved ones. Rip.

Former Hollyoaks star Paul Danan’s death was caused by a toxic combination of heroin, methadone and other drugs, an inquest has heard.

The 46-year-old died last month and an inquest today was opened and then adjourned for a full hearing to May 28, according to the BBC, which reported its provisional results.

Danan’s provisional cause of death was combined toxicity of heroin, methadone, coedine, pregabalin, cocaine, zopiclone, contributed to by benzodiazepine use, the BBC said.

Danan played the loveable Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks and also appeared on Celebrity Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother. His death sent shockwaves through the UK entertainment industry.

Since his death, court documents have revealed that Danan had been due to appear for a plea hearing at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on January 16 after being charged with being in possession of cocaine and cannabis.

The BBC said that Danan had spent more than £1m ($1.3B) on rehab over the years.

According to the BBC, during an inquest hearing on Tuesday at Avon Coroner’s Court, it was revealed the provisional cause of death for Danan — who died on Jan. 15 at the age of 46 — was the combined toxicity of heroin, methadone, coedine, pregabalin, cocaine and zopiclone. Benzodiazepine use was also a contributing factor.

Coroner’s officer Alexis Camp added that “there are no family concerns” and a note was not left by the star, who was found deceased in his Bristol home and identified by his partner, Melissa Crooks. Danan had been due to appear for a plea hearing on Jan. 16 pertaining to a cocaine and cannabis possession charge. He had previously been accused of driving under the influence and had been open about his struggles with substance abuse.

Teddi has been candid about her treatment, which seemed worse than expected. While two tumors were scheduled for removal, the surgeon discovered more tumors so they removed four of them. Her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave was by her side after surgery and Bravo fans loved that he stood by her.

The second season of House of Villains debuted with a two-night premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 9, on E! The reality TV show sees some of the most iconic baddies battle each other to become Americas Ultimate Supervillain.

These villains compete in challenges in the hopes of becoming a Supervillain, who then has to nominate two people for the "Hit List." The nominees then have a chance to save themselves during the Redemption Challenge. At the end of the week, the group will vote to eliminate one iconic reality TV villain from their evil lair.

In the end, the show's ultimate villain walks away with the title and $200,000. Season 1 of House of Villains had some of TV's worst villains, but Season 2 is even more entertaining!

Based on a recent announcement by the CBS boss, the stage has been set to make it possible.

It was revealed that Survivor 50 will be a “year-long” celebration at CBS.

But Survivor is only 26 days long now (or 39 days if they extend it for the special season), giving them enough content for a 13-episode season.

The difference is quite pronounced, guaranteeing that someone other than the Hoh will hold the Pov power on Big Brother Canada.

These range from athletes to actors, musicians to hosts and TV personalities, reality show stars from other franchises, and others.

Telemundo is riding the longest ratings winning streak it’s ever had in Spanish-language television.

The NBCUniversal-owned network has topped Univision in primetime for two consecutive months, closing out April with substantial leads over its rival. Telemundo averaged 1.2 million total viewers and 344,000 adults 18-49 for the month, topping Univision by margins of 21 percent and 22 percent in the two measures.

That’s a big change among the Spanish-language broadcasters, where Univision has long been the leader (and still holds the edge for the 2023-24 season as a whole).

The two-month streak has been powered by the reality series La Casa de los Famosos — a version of Celebrity Big Brother — and Telemundo’s long-running novela El Señor de los Cielos, which is currently in its ninth season. That’s what the upcoming E! show “House of Villains” will explore. The competition elimination series will bring together 10 of the most deceptive, manipulative and (often) unlikeable personalities under one roof this fall, where they’ll vie for a $200,000 prize.

The British version of the iconic reality TV series “Big Brother,” which first launched 23 years ago, is set to return to ITV screens on Oct. 8. The show is hosted by Aj Odudu and Will Best and produced by Initial, part of Banijay U.K. “Big Brother: The Launch” will air on ITV1, ITV2 and streamer Itvx, while the remainder of the series will be available nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and Itvx, except Saturdays.

“Big Brother” will be followed each night by “Big Brother: Late & Live,” hosted live by Odudu and Best from the site of the Big Brother house in front of a studio audience, where evictees will be interviewed.
