A very good show that keeps getting better

The first two seasons were quite good, although a bit too close to the original even if the differences in characterization were significant. The third season on the other hand is nothing short of extraordinary. The team has been granted creative freedom and the show finally exploits its potential to the fullest by creating its own mythology and symbolism. The lighting is exquisite and the music choices are very effective. As for the acting, Axel Auriant and Maxence Danet Fauvel are simply brillant. But more importantly Skam France is doing a great job at portraying French teenagers truthfully which is something lacking in French television! I am very excited for season four and really hope the show will get to have a few more seasons.

Axel Auriant Season 3 💚💚

Tbh i read reviews regarding season 1 & 2 and decided to not watch it but for somehow when trailer for season 3 came out, i was sooo excited!! How to start with this season,,, Give AXEL AURIANT an OSCAR 👏🏻👏🏻 This mec is just unbelievable, a great drummer as well a great actor, he nailed this season PERFECTLY. Reading about him in season 2 and to see how he completely changed, shows that he just needed a good writer (Niels) to discover our talented AXEL. I cried, loved & laughed with him (Thank You for this lovely season) David, Niels & Axel 🌹🌹

It's not bad, but it doesn't even come close to the original: the authenticity and charm is missing, the acting is unnatural and everything just seems a bit forced.

Season Three: 7/10

Themes: Drama, Friendship, High School, Romance, Lgbtq+, Gay Couple, Coming Out, Mental Health, Acceptance, Bipolar Disorder & French.

Top three characters: 1) Eliott Demaury, 2) Arthur Broussard and 3) Daphné Lecomte.

Season 3 is amazing

They are absolutely killing it with this third season ! Honestly I was a bit lukewarm about the two first season as they were pretty much a copy of the original. But they're blowing everything out of the water this season - the acting is incredible, the chemistry, the filming...all levelled up like whoa...they've changed enough of the character dynamics to make it feel fresh, developed their own symbolism...it's super intense and the characters feel like their own. They've managed to keep me at the edge of my seat. I really love it.

Woah

Full 10 for me. Yes the first season was good but not great. Second season was lovely and I fell in love with the characters. But season 3 is a whole other level. Its so beautifully done and the acting is amazing, and the music choice is lovely. I tell everyone to watch it because I just takes up most of the space in my brain because its THAT GOOD!

10/10 will always recommend.

i might prefer this to the original

At least when it comes to season 3. the acting, direction, score and chemistry is just off the charts - and eliott and lucas are by far the most relatable and... real "isak and even"s to me. they are incredibly close to my heart and i am so thankful for this show. this is what i would've needed in my teens instead of glee, so i'm really glad french and International teens will get to watch this now.

Season 3 is pure PERFECTION

#Elu all the way! Axel and Maxence are absolutely incredible. The entire cast is doing such an amazing job. David Hourregue is a genius. We need more seasons because this show is really too perfect.

Salut!

I watched the Norwegian version when it came out and I loved it and I was obviously very excited about the remakes and after watching the French one let me tell you that it's amazing. I'm on the third season now and I'm just in love with the acting, the changes they made everything. Go watch it!!

Rushed with no emotion

The reason the original Skam was praised so highly was because of the genuine character development and the scenes showcasing this. The original Skam took its time which allowed the viewers to connect with the characters. In Skam France the characters are emotionless and do not connect well with each other, their friendships and relationships are unconvincing. There's no time to connect or relate to any of the characters which makes the show boring. As well, the episodes are only 20 minutes long which rushes its scene for scene storyline. Everything is predictable unlike Skam Germany which actually took their own twist on the story. Definitely wasted my time on this one.

Amazing!

Skam France is part of a great revolution in European TV, bringing a fresh breath into "teenage" dramas. It's so raw and real without compromising its poetic and aesthetic dimensions. The format of the show really brings the viewer into the story and it does a wonderful job incorporating all the aspects of youth culture (instagram, messaging, all that jazz).

perfect

This show is so importart and well-made. In general, all the Skam remakes are doing a great job, plus the cast's acting (giving a honorous shout out to Axel Auriant, whose acting is getting better and better in every episode. The boy HAS potential and CAN act and definitely deserves recognition).

A truly enriching expeience

We visit the France site to watch translated content. It connects with us. Acting is superb and so is the direction. But what gets to me is the situations. I find myself similar to these characters. Much Love!

Heartbreakingly honest

I started with SkamOG, way back when. My heart has always belonged to SkamOG. But, comparing Skam France to SkamOG is apples and oranges. Skam France is painful in a brutally honest way. Axel is absolutely amazing as Lucas (SkamOG's Isak), every week you feel his every emotion. From happy, confused, sad, to horrificly broken. Do yourself a favor and forget all of your preconceived notions from any other SkamOG remakes you've watched. The Skam France team is doing their own thing and frankly, I'm so excited about it. Lucas is very relatable in his anger and closed offness. Watching him grow and learn is so amazing.

Good

The first two seasons are a bit boring, though the main characters aka the girl squad are very sweet! The third season is way better in terms of cinematography and writing. The two leads (two boys who are falling in love) are incredible. I hope we'll have more than the four planned seasons with this quality!

Eye and Mind Catching

Nothing is missed here, Skam Season 3 has everything that we viewers wanted to watch, Love (sweet-loving) that will put pleasing smile on your face, Confusion that will turned your mind in various directions but a good confusion that as viewers we find it refreshing, Hurt that had shown in very different and more hurting way by just a few scenes, Fear that you'll feel with the characters, Emotions (not gonna mention) - so much emotions that will made you tear your own emotions, characters will ruin your emotional life (so beware of this and proceed with caution XD).

It is great remake of OG SKAM, pleasantly new and exciting with few amazing changes in scenes that is the big factor to make this remake more inviting to watch. The whole cast and actors are impressive especially S3's MCs are breathtaking :* I love tiny and cute people who has stored so much talent in their tiny baby body :^)

BEST REMAKE EVER

It's incredible, there's no doubt. Every season has it's own character, which is awesome, and every character deals with different issues, with a different point of view, it's amazing. Season 3 is definitely one of my favorites, and probably the most original one, the characters are unique, the scenes and the soundtrack are beautiful, the storyline is a rollercoaster of emotions, totally worth watching.

Wow. Just wow.

Honestly, when there is usually a remake. It is never really good or it at least can't hold a flame to the original. However, this is not the case with SKAM France. Even though the first two seasons weren't special due to strict licensing problems (thus their creativity was restricted), their creative freedom for season 3 really shows and all of the scenes are really knocking it out of the park- with some even being (dare I say it) better than the original (in my opinion). I really appreciate what the team in SKAM France is doing in bringing awareness to LGBT+ with Lucas as the main character for season 3 and his acceptance of his sexuality. I am also really looking forward to season 4 with the main character Imane and her experience as a Muslim in France. This is a must-watch show- even if you haven't seen the original!

mediocre

If the original SKAM was counting on young "non professional actors" that were touching, complex and that felt real and accurate, who almost all had the same age than the characters they were playing, in the French version we have annoying obnoxious "professional actors" that over act, special mention to the one that plays Lucas. they pretty much all come from rubbish french sticoms by the way. Everything is wrong here, the way they deliver their dialogues, their facial expressions. The problem is also the pseudo youth talk, nobody talks like that in high schools honestly and the way the actors are directed. the actors wait for their turn to say their lines, you can also hear the director say camera's rolling. The rhythm is off too. It looks cheap, the music is bland, the camera work and the editing is poor, the location uninspiring and ugly. The way the scenes end is poor, When Lukas appear on skype, you can tell it's not skype but shot with a profesional camera, he is the one calling but looks surprised. The acting it off just like the introduction read by Yann that sounds like he's telling a joke, while it's serious there's an emergency in the monologue that he is completely ruining. The dialogues are off, terrible and sound fake. The dialogues are over explaining everything, nothing is suggested. It's contrived. The show is often sexist while pretending to be pro feminist too. It's very divisive between men and women. I'd stick to the original one or the Italian one which is different, sexiest, is very inventive in it's shot, has gorgeous locations and great actors and beautiful cinematography.
