Plot

Neville, the son of a fisherman, met the mermaid and the underwater photographer Pei for the first time in that accident at sea. To thank Pei for saving his life, Neville, who is a master in free diving, promised to be her guide in the ocean. The unspoiled and undeveloped underwater spectacles made the city girl Pei completely mesmerized. Pei sees the ocean in a way Neville has never imagined before. They see a brand new world through each other's eyes. Pei also showed Neville the future and the business opportunity of free diving, giving him a reason to leave the Orchid Island. The mermaid hid behind the reef was the one who really saved Neville in that accident. She shed off her tail fin with all her strength to meet Neville again. She has the purest heart and soul. She is warm and quiet just like the ocean. When Neville and the mermaid dived so deeply in the ocean, he felt completely free and peaceful. He also felt the longing for his native place.
